Sam Levinson’s Emmy winner modern drama called Euphoria is in the news for coming back with a second season. Post the release of a couple of special episodes last December and this January, and the show has already released the first episode of its new season. The audience will continue seeing the 17-year-old teen Rue Bennett and her never-ending struggle with love, mental health problems, loss, and drug addiction.
Not just her, the show will also highlight the lives of many other teenagers like her coming from the town of East Highland. Euphoria is back with its second season after a long gap of over two years now. The first episode of the new season begins with a sneak into the past showing Fez’s grandma walking into his son’s strip club with a gun in her hand as she ends up shooting her son in the crotch. Then, with Fez’s father’s bloody pelvic and a naked lady shrieking in fear, season 2 of euphoria features sex, drugs, violence, and complicated love stories.
The first episode goes deep into Fez’s past, showing his younger sibling Ash, who had become a victim of drugs and violence in his younger days and was on a violent outbreak in the Season 1 finale. The first episode of the new season also features Nate and Maddy’s relationship continuing from the time when they last confessed their feelings for each other.

The second season of modern drama Euphoria can be caught on HBO on Sundays in the United States. The new season hit the screens on January 9 this year at 9 pm EST on the traditional cable network. Every week, all the upcoming new episodes will hit the screens in the same time slot.
