The Journey Of Hadid’s Pregnancy –
Hadid and Malik have been in an on and off relationship since 2015. Ever since they got back together, rumors had started to surface in April 2020 about Hadid’s pregnancy. Ultimately, it was Hadid’s mother Yolanda who confirmed in an interview about the pregnancy and also shared that she was happy and excited, although she did she say that she was surprised that this leaked out to the press.
In an online interview with Jimmy Fallon, Hadid confirmed her pregnancy. Hadid also revealed that the family was excited, happy, and grateful for all the wishes they had received.

For the most part, Hadid kept her pregnancy private and stayed away from paparazzi. There is a lot of discussion on Twitter where users thinking that Hadid is trying to cover her pregnancy. In an Instagram Live in July, Hadid gives the fans a first glimpse of her baby bump. Gigi also explaining that her pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world. But the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement is more important. She also thanked the fans for their wishes and positive comments. Hadid also became a target of online trolls who trolled her and body-shamed her. But Hadid is well-knowing for her comebacks and response to trolls, handling the situation well and with ease.
In August, Gigi released a series a pictures online. Gigi did a maternity pregnancy photo shoot where she had many photographs of her then prominent baby bump. Hadid was 33 weeks pregnant at the time of the photoshoot.

On September 23, 2020, Malik and Hadid became parents to a healthy baby girl. Shortly after welcoming the child, Hadid sported an adorable name necklace which spelt ‘MAMA’. However, Gigi and Zayn are yet to announce the name of their daughter. Actress Zendaya, singer Taylor Swift and fashion designer-mogul Donatella Versace sent flowers and presents to Hadid to congratulate her for the pregnancy. Swift gifted Gigi a handmade blanket and Versace sent some baby-sized Versace clothes for the baby girl. The baby is not even a month old and she is already looking to be a style icon!
