The long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has entered into a hiatus for its current season. It had dropped its eighth episode back on December 16, 2021, which was its winter finale. As the surge in COVID cases spiked up towards the end of last year in Southern California, the team has halted the filming for season 18. Thus the production was temporarily shut down.

Season 18 began its premiere on September 30, 2021. Krista Vernoff serves as the showrunner for this medical drama, and ABC Signature has produced the show along with Entertainment One Television and Shondaland Production Company. On May 10, 2021, the American Broadcasting Company had ordered its eighteenth season.

Why Shouldn’t We Expect Season 18 to Release on Netflix this month?

How long do we need to wait for season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy to arrive on Netflix? Certainly, it will not be available for streaming on this platform this month. The list of titles that will be arriving in February on Netflix does not include Grey’s Anatomy. And it is no surprise, given that season 18 is yet to complete its premiere on the original ABC network. The remainder of the episodes will start arriving on ABC later this month.

When will Season 18 Arrive on Netflix?

Netflix and ABC have fixed a deal concerning the release of the episodes of Grey’s Anatomy on the streaming giant. Once the show completes the finale for its running season, the episodes will arrive 30 days later on Netflix. Generally, we get to catch up with ABC’s show on Netflix around mid-June each year. If it keeps up with the trend, we may get to see season 18 on Netflix soon. However, it also depends on the release schedule of episodes on ABC.

When will Episode 9 Arrive on ABC?

Grey’s Anatomy will be returning with its ninth episode for season 18 this February 24, 2022. You can tune in to the original ABC network and stream the episode at 8 pm ET on the aforementioned date. The current season will have 15 episodes in this season.

We also have a good news for the fans of this medical drama. It has not reached its end yet. ABC has renewed its 19th season on January 10, 2022, with the role of Dr. Meredith Grey being resumed by Ellen Pompeo.

Who is in the Cast of Season 18?

Once again, Ellen Pompeo stars in the lead in the role of the iconic character of Ellen Pompeo. Dr. Miranda Bailey will be played by Chandra Wilson, Dr. Richard Weber by James Pickens Jr., Dr. Amelia Shepherd is played by Caterina Scorsone, and Dr. Owen Hunt by Kevin McKidd. Dr. Maggie Pierce is played by Kelly McCreary, and Dr. Jo Wilson by Camilla Luddington.

What is the Plot of Season 18?

As Meredith survives the COVID pandemic, she must decide what course life should take further. She will be back in action professionally. A number of surgeons had stepped down from the show to cope up with personal trauma. You can also choose to catch up with the episodes of Grey’s Anatomy season 18 on Hulu.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
