Netflix is coming up with great horror movies and TV series. This year’s Halloween releases like Night books (releasing on September 15, 2021), Squid Game (releasing on September 17, 2021), and Lock & Key Season 2 (coming in October) are definitely worth a watch. There are many other exciting horror shows and movies that will be coming soon on this OTT platform.
Hypnotic is a less-known horror film that appears to be a psychological thriller. Kate Siegel, who has previously worked in Hush and Oculus, will star in this movie. Some of you might be able to guess the movie’s plot, but this Netflix movie is maintaining mystery regarding the details. Very little information is available presently.
Release Date of Hypnotic
This year Netflix promised its viewers a new release every week, and till now, it has been able to do so. Hypnotic is a part of October releases and will come just at the right time for Halloween. Cast of Hypnotic
Siegel will be seen in the character of Jenn, who is looking forward to improving her life. In real life, Siegel is married to Mike Flanagan. They both have worked together on many projects like The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Haunting of Hill House. Before the release of Hypnotic, she will be seen in Midnight Mass which will come on September 24, 2021.
Along with Siegel, Jason O’Mara will be seen. He was earlier seen in The Man in the High Castle and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jason plays the role of the hypnotist whom Jenn refers to for help. The movie also stars Dulé Hill (Rollins), Lucie Guest (Gina), Luc Roderique (Scott), Jaime M. Callica (Brian) and Darien Martine. No character descriptions are provided till now. The movie is directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote and written by Richard D’Ovidio.
Plot of Hypnotic
Not much information is available regarding the plot of the movie. According to the synopsis on Netflix, the movie is about a young woman who seeks help from a hypnotist. Soon after having some intense sessions, she faces some unexpected consequences. From the look of released photographs, it appears as if Jenn lands in some personal problems, which leads her to Dr. Meade. Something goes wrong during the hypnosis sessions.
