The upcoming American superhero series Peacemaker has been created by taking inspiration from Joe Gill and Pat Boyette’s DC Comics character of the same name and is essentially the spinoff of 2021’s The Suicide Squad. The plot of this action-comedy has been penned by James Gunn, who has also served as the director and showrunner of the show.
James Gunn has written all the episodes and directed five of them, with the remaining two directed by Jody Hill and Rosemary Rodriguez. The production has been the collaborative work of Troll Court Entertainment, The Safran Company and Warner Bros. Television. The show was shot in Vancouver in Canada, between January and July this year.
When will Peacemaker Release?
By wrapping up its filming in July this year, the superhero action comedy-drama is all set to entertain the viewers from January 13, 2022. The show is the spin-off to the latest The Suicide Squad and will include a total of 8 episodes to its credit that will follow a weekly release pattern.
The first three episodes will be telecasted on the day of the premiere itself, while the rest five will air on subsequent Thursdays of the week. The titles of the initial three episodes have also been revealed- A Whole New Whirled, Best Friends Never and Better Goff Dead, respectively. All three have been written as well as directed by James Gunn. The titles for the rest of the episodes will be revealed in the future, and the series will finally conclude on February 17, 2022.
Where to Watch Peacemaker?
Peacemaker is set to appear in January next year on HBO Max. The streamer ordered the creation of the series right away after the movie in September last year. So to enjoy the series, you will have to have a subscription to the streamer, which begins from $9.99 a month. However, for the viewers outside America, it isn’t known as to where the series will be made available.
