The scientific fiction La Brea has concluded with its first season on NBC, and the delighted fans are already eyeing its next installment. The show began airing in September this year and successfully ran for ten episodes, being released on a weekly basis. David Appelbaum has created the show, and Universal Television and Keshet Studios have produced it for the network.

Starring Eoin Macken, Natalie Zea, Chiké Okonkwo and others, the show has garnered massive viewership towards its ending and has been eagerly awaited for more to come out with by the fans. But before that, if you are among those who haven’t watched the series yet, we will tell you if it’s worth it or not!

What Our Critic Has To Say About Season 1 Of La Brea?

With the opening of the show, it wasn’t hard to predict that it tried to somewhere match the magic of Lost, but not as easy as it seems to be parallel to Lost, La Brea did fairly well on its own grounds. The show is full of tiny mysteries waiting to be noticed by the audience and allows it to smoothly carry on.

It very carefully raises some interesting questions that kept the fans engaged throughout to find the answers and did a good job in answering them towards its closure. The show, however, opened in lower regard in terms of plot and characterization, but it began soaring up the charts and caught its momentum and became viewers’ favorite watch till it came to an end this Tuesday.

The plotline is impressive with its own tone of twists and turns, and the multicultural cast has been an impressive work by the makers in order to ensure that similar racial members are all cliché and work of past and diverse ethnicities is what connects to the viewers now. That’s the prime reason that even before its conclusion, the show got its renewed installment!

What Is La Brea Season 1 All About?

The premise of the show follows around a disaster that takes place one day in Los Angeles, and as a result of the sinkhole created near the La Brea Tar Pits, people fall into it and get transported to seemingly another world, separating the members of the Harris family. The show showcases the attempt by the family members to unite with each other along with others trying to survive in the new world till the way to escape it out is discovered.

Is It Worth Watching?

This sci-fi, suspense-packed series manages to answer the doubts and mysteries it creates along the way, little by little, and we had to wait for a week-long for the new episodes to be revealed. But the show was worth our patience and without fail should be a must-watch if you haven’t already.

Since the season will be available to be enjoyed in its entirety now, you can binge-watch it if your curiosity instincts don’t let you sit in peace! It will surely be worth your time.

Where To Watch La Brea Season 1?

Season 1 of La Brea can be streamed on Hulu, fuboTV, Peacock, DirecTV, Peacock Premium and Spectrum on Demand, with all its ten episodes available on the platforms. However, you can also buy the episodes of the season from iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play Movies, Microsoft Store and Vudu in case that option suits you.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
