Superheroes are loved by everyone. Surely there won’t be many people who do not enjoy watching their shows or movies. Now, if we add time travel to a superhero movie or series, it is surely going to amaze the viewers.
One such show which has both of these themes is Legends of Tomorrow where a time traveler known as Rip Hunter goes back in time to recruit heroes and villains to help prevent the earth from a catastrophic apocalypse. Is There Going to be a Season 8?
With season 7 officially coming to an end, the viewers are wondering if there will be a season 8 to the super human-filled series. At the moment, there is no clear news whether season 8 of Legends of Tomorrow will take place or not. Currently, there is no news of renewal for the series so we can say that Legends of Tomorrow season 8 had not yet been confirmed. Around this time of the year, season 7 was confirmed and with the rumors going around that season 8 is going to happen, the showrunner Keto Shimizu has confirmed the rumors are baseless but this doesn’t mean that there won’t be a season 8 for the series and that all hope is not lost.
If Season 8 Does Come Out, What Will it be About?
With season 7 coming to a very exciting and surprising end, we saw some major developments. Firstly, we see the introduction of Booster Gold. Sara Lance discovers that she is pregnant which will change the course of lives for many characters.
Her baby has the regenerative ability which can surely be a major part of season 8 and the biggest surprise of all was the revealing of Booster Gold being the father of the leader of the legends, Rip Hunter, will surely be one of the main topics for the next season.
Nick Zano who plays Nate Heywood aka Citizen Steel, bids farewell to his fellow legends. His character loses his powers after he runs through the World War 1 combat field to save his friend’s love interest Alun. With the loss of his powers, we can say that Nick won’t be coming back in the potential season 8 after he first appeared in the 2nd season of the series. We can also confirm that he won’t be a part of the series after he leaves a sad and heart-touching message for his fellow workers.
What Was Season 7 About?
The season starts off with the legends being trapped in 1925 after someone uses a future Waverider. The legends then begin making plans to reach New York and realize that Hoover has train tickets to Dc which further leads Nate to Impersonate Hoover.
The legends get caught up in the mob business and become moonshiners. With Sarah and her team preparing themselves to use the time machine, the others rush to save them. the legends then end up crash landing in the year 1940 where they are found to be in the middle of the Second World War. Sarah later becomes tired and decides to make a plan to save themselves from the evil wanderer.
The finale of the season brings out some shocking turns, we see Gideon getting horrified after AI Gideon reveals the truth about Gary. The legends realize that Gwyn has broken the treaty and Sarah hides a very important secret from Ava.
We also see the loss of powers of Citizen Steel. This indicates his departure from the series after appearing in 92 episodes. With the departure of one hero, we also see the arrival of another when Sarah reveals her pregnancy of a baby who has the power of regeneration.
