Ordinary Joe is an American tv series that began on NBC on September 20, 2021. Garrett Lerner and Russel Friend, founder and director, produced the series for 20th Television and Universal Television show. The series follows Joe Kimbreau as he graduates from Syracuse University and makes an important decision that can impact his entire life.
Following a decade after graduation, the series depicts him on three parallel timescales: as a policeman, carrying in his father’s footsteps; as a music artist, pursuing his passion; and as a nurse, when he married his college girlfriend.
The storylines go on in the three parallel worlds as we watch how Joe’s life evolves in each of them. In each of Joe’s lifetimes, we watch how he spends Thanksgiving. In the other part, Joe, who was playing the role of the musician, was having a hard time dealing with his wife’s adultery.
His sister informs him that he must decide whether or not to continue in this marriage. Joe, the cop, receives a report about a fire. Later, he apologized to Amy for his family’s inappropriate behavior at dinner in his house. Nurse Joe is on the search for a medical assistant for his child.

Joe, a musician, is already grieving from Amy’s deception. He admits to his sister that he and she had not slept with each other in a long period of time. So, it’s more likely that she is pregnant with Bobby’s child. If she reveals Joe the truth, he may become even more distant.

Ordinary Joe Episode 9 Recap
Joe, the musician, was heartbroken after learning about Amy’s betrayal. Amy convinces him that it was simply an error in judgment and that she still loves him. Celeste reminds him that he must decide whether he is willing to go past this and mend the relationship with Amy. Bobby’s fiancée will compete for his seat, putting her in direct confrontation with Amy.
Joe performs at a funding event, and he becomes very emotional after Amy introduces him and tells the audience how she fell madly in love with him. Mid-song, his voice bursts, and he begins to cry. Amy receives a call from her doctor later in the evening notifying her that she is pregnant.
Amy is residing with Cop Joe in his alternative universe and offers to assist his family with Thanksgiving dinner. However, things grow uncomfortable during Thanksgiving dinner when Celeste begins to discuss their father’s temper tantrums. She’s disturbed that no one in their family chats about anything, and she thinks it’s bizarre that Joe still lives with his mother. She becomes upset and walks away.
Joe immediately apologizes to Amy for spoiling the dinner and making her upset. He receives a call about a fire and goes to the area. A guy informs him that his child is still trapped inside the tower. Joe informs Amy that he doesn’t really want to leave something undone before going into the flaming building, and he tells her that he loves her. Joe is asked to be the godfather of Eric and his wife’s child.
Jenny calls Nurse Joe and tells him she has to cooperate on a pro bono case with the instructor. She recommends hiring an assistant to support them in caring for their kid. Joe employs a nursing assistant who is also one of his employees. Kinsley and Chris hit it off right away. They all have Thanksgiving dinner together. Amy and Eric inform them that they have made the decision to adopt a baby.
