The first season premiered on Netflix in 2017 and gained a positive response from the crowd; in 2020, the third season came to Netflix in March 2020. After all the love showered on the third season, fans are eagerly waiting to know the updates for the fourth season. Netflix has now officially announced that Ozark has been renewed for its fourth season. Rumors on social media said that the fourth season would be the final season of Ozark.
Ozark Season 4 Release Date & Are there 10 Episodes in the New Season?
In an interview, Hogan revealed about how he was busy filming Ozark. Shooting for the fourth season of Ozark was started back on November 9, 2020. The upcoming season is said to be split into two parts, consisting of a total of 14 episodes; the season will be split in half, having seven episodes. The remaining seven episodes are expected to be released by 2022. Due to the pandemic, there are a lot of issues faced by the team in filming. Even the third season faced delay and was released on March 27, 2020.
The first half of the season, that is, the first seven episodes, are said to be released in later months in 2021, while the next seven will likely be released by March or April 2022. As for now, there haven’t been any confirmed release dates.
When will Ozark Season 4 Trailer be Out?
As we saw, the show release dates are yet to be officially announced; hence it would be a little early to be expecting the trailer for the fourth season. However, looking back at season 3, the trailer was released on March 5, 2020, and the show was released later in that month. Therefore, we can expect the trailer a month ago the series release.
Who from the Cast is Expected to Return in Ozark Season 4?
Most of the cast will be returning to the fourth season of Ozark. In the third season, we saw the deaths of two people, and Ben Davis, played by Tom Pelphrey, and Helen Pierce, played by Janet McTeer. There hasn’t been an official announcement regarding a change in the cast of the series; hence we can expect the same faces to return. We will, of course, see the lead of the series Marty Byrde played by Jason Bateman. We will also see, Wendy Byrde played by Laury Linney. Let us look behind at the third season and how it concluded. The previous season consisted of 10 episodes and lots of drama and action. The crime boss Omar Navarro captures the lead Marty, and in order to keep the rest of her family safe, Wendy had been forced to hit out on her own brother. After all this, we may expect a lot to happen in the third season. We will see Wendy’s decision about her brother’s death and how it would be affecting on her and the family.
It is for sure that the fourth season will pick up from where the third season is left and finish off the unfinished storyline of Season 3. Even after all this, we may expect to see new faces and storylines in the series, including a lot of drama, crime, and action.
