The second season of Raising Dion’s sci-fi series will be made this February 1, 2022. The American superhero adventure drama series Raising Dion adapts Dennis Liu’s comic book of the same name, released back in 2015.
Carol Barbee is the show’s creator. The show’s premise follows Nicole, who has a son named Dion. After her husband, Mark’s death, she has to go through the hardships alone to raise her son. And the complexity of the situation is magnified when her son begins to manifest various superhero power. She is now charged with protecting Dion, while she must also seek to find the origin of his capabilities.

The series Raising Dion had received a renewal in January 2020, just three months after the first season. However, the filming for season 2 was not initiated until 2021. And, finally, the second season will arrive soon. Season 2 will make its premiere on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

The events in season 2 will take place two years after the occurrences in the preceding season. Dion has defeated the Crooked Man, and with his mom and Trevin (trainer), he will continue to build his superhero abilities. Episode 1 of season 2 is known as “Issue #101”, and it is further titled “How Do You Raise a Superhero?” Each episode in this season has an “issue” number associated with it.
Brayden and Dion’s friendship will also strengthen this season, harbouring superpowers. Since danger lurks around Dion, he and his mom need to gear up to fight the evil forces and protect Atlanta City.
