Rescued by Ruby is an upcoming Biography-Drama Movie by Netflix. The movie follows the life of Dan and his Rescue Dog Ruby. Dan is a State Trooper with hopes of one day joining the K-9 Search and Rescue Squad. He has tried time and time again but to no avail.
Until Ruby comes into his life. Ruby has been in and out of the Rescue System for a very long time, never staying with one family for a prolonged period. All of her previous Foster Parents returned her claiming she has too much energy and is generally unmanageable.
Seeing she has no hope of being with a Family she is scheduled to be Euthanatized. Mere hours before the procedure Officer Daniel O’Neil finds and instantly feels a connection. He finally saw a glimmer of hope in being part of the K-9 Squad once more.
Meet the Cast
The movie has an excellent cast of some amazing actors, actresses, and of course dogs. The main lead of the movie is American Actor and Singer Grant Gustin. He is best known for his work as The Flash in the Arrowverse. He plays the role of Daniel O’Neil, a State Trooper with hopes of joining the K-9 Squad.
Ruby is played by canine actor Bear who is also a Rescue Dog. Then we have American Actor Scott Wolf best known for his work as Carson Drew in the TV Series, Nancy Drew. He plays the character ofMatt Zarrella. Then we have Lantin-Canadian Actress and Costume Designer Kaylah Zander playing the role of Melissa.
Then we have Canadian Actress Camille Sullivan as Pat Inman. Furthermore, we have Jesse Award Winner Canadian Actor Tom McBeath in the role of Seamus Brady. And finally, we have Canadian Actress Sharon Taylor as Sam and American Actress as Sergeant Amanda Grinnell.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on the 17th of March 2022. It is based on real events has all the makings of a great movie. The movie will stream exclusively on Netflix. However, some of you might not be able to access the movie just yet due to your geography.

What is the Storyline?
As you may already know the movie is based on real-life events. The movie was inspired by the life of Ruby, a rescue dog who became a search and rescue dog. The Australian Shepard and Collie Mix was so wild 5 families gave her up.
She was rescued from the verge of Euthanasia by Trooper Daniel O’Neil who enrolled her into the K-9 Program. From which she graduated with flying colors. Ruby went on to a part of the Rhode Island K-9 Unit. This movie is based on the events of October 2017 where Ruby finds a Teenage Boy who was missing for almost 40 hours following an accident. The boy fell into a ravine and had lost consciousness on impact. The story become a national sensation and made Ruby a National Hero
