Star Trek: Strange New Worlds sees Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, Number One, and the rest of the crew traveling to new worlds in the vast abyss of space. They are traveling in the USS Enterprise.
So far, the series has released eight episodes. The series is a throwback to the original theme in the 1960s, but in a better way.
The series not only explores new planets, but also its major characters. It has a planet of the week, and gives most of the characters a feature episode. It shows their character development in a much more aesthetic and interesting way.
To express it in a nutshell, you’re going to miss so much if you skip this awesome series. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has proved to be one of the best series of the franchise until now, and with continued support, can be renewed for further seasons.
What is it about?
It follows the journey of the crew in the U. S. S. Enterprise, who explore new worlds across the galaxy. In the 23rd century, the crew is led by Captain Christopher Pike. Being the eleventh show in the franchise, Strange New Worlds acts as a spin-off to Discovery and a prequel to The Original Series.

It stars Anson Mount as the lead Captain Christopher Pike. Mount recently made a cameo as Black Bolt in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness while reprising the role from the Inhuman series.
