Tayshia Adams, star of the famous reality TV show “The Bachelorette,” is healing after being admitted to the hospital with a serious kidney infection just days after finishing the New York City Marathon.
Tayshia Hospitalized Soon After NYC Marathon
Adams, the 31-year-old American TV personality, explained on her Instagram story that she had been having abdominal pain for a few days before it became so severe that she needed to go to the ER. She informed her fans that she was in so much pain that she couldn’t even sit up straight. She added that she was crouching over and mentioned that she had a high pain tolerance.
The doctors were able to rule out things like her appendix and kidney stones after some tests, which included a cat scan and an ultrasound before they diagnosed Adams with this particular illness.
What Did Tayshia Said About Her Health?
The former “Bachelorette” star revealed that the doctors were thinking of putting her in the hospital overnight because her agony just kept coming back. She went on to say that, however, she decided it would be best if she returned home, slept in her bed, and did all of those things. Adams has been “laying low” since returning home while taking the medication that the physicians prescribed for her.
She stated that she’s getting better but that she’s still not quite right. Moreover, she wanted all her Instagram followers to know that the kidney infection that she was diagnosed with had nothing to do with her and Zac Clark, who is her fiancé, running the NYC Marathon that was held on Sunday.
She explained that she didn’t want her fans to think that this had anything to do with the marathon. She truly felt great after the marathon and that she made a good recovery.
