It’s been six years since the last chapter to the premier, but here the wait of the franchise fan is over. The Collection movie is back with its 3rd chapter, titled The Collected. Josh Stewart has announced on his Twitter that the third part of The Collection movie is coming soon. It will be another action-packed, torture, horror, franchise, and gory ride, directed by Marcus Dunstan.
It is produced by Brett Forbes, David Brown, and Patrick Rizzotti. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are the screenplay co-writers for the upcoming series. The cast includes Josh Stewart, Emma Fitzpatrick, NaviRawat, and Dot-Marie Jones. The first part has 6.1/10 IMDb ratings, while the second chapter got 6.4/10 IMDb ratings.
What Can be Expected from the Collected?
The title of the movie is styled as The Coll3cted. At the end of the last chapter, Arkin collected the Collector, so the title perfectly fits the next chapter. But the next happening has not been clued since. The revealed photos show the scenes of the police station and depict that Arkin is in prison. The standing of this chapter is entirely complicated. According to what people say, the production is halted, and there has been no update regarding the resumption.
The story revolves around a mysterious masked villain who kills individuals using complicated death traps as per the unreported updates. John “Jigsaw” Kramer has some morality, but the Collector is among the trickiest and bad villains of the time. Arkin is a thief but not a bad person; after prison period, he was forced to return to the crime.
What can be expected as the Cast and Crew?
Some of the cast from the last chapters have been returned in this upcoming series, including Josh Stewart as Arkin, while a well-known actress Emma Fitzpatrick as Elena. Actor Peter Giles will play the role of the Collector. Whereas, the entry of some new characters has also confirmed like that of Tom Atkins as Clu. Randy Havens will play the role of Evidence Officer and Dot-Marie Jones as Sheriff Roxy Lawson.
As per the reports, other confirmed characters will be Julia Vasi as Cindy, David Shae as Deputy Gulager, Lilith Fury as Woman in the police station, Alison Haselden as Potter, David Kallaway as D&D, DikranTulaine as Alan Ross, and Mary Kraft as Monica. The male reporter is Thomas Roberts, and Sasha Rionda will cast the female reporter. The other crew includes production design by Molly Coffee, set decoration by Erin Day, and Costume Design by Jose Luis Ramos Jr.
Whether the third Season is Cancelled?
After two amazing seasons, fans are desperately waiting for the third storyline. As reported by the Screenrant, the Collected is stopped. The production is halted, of which the reason has not been disclosed yet. There is no confirmation for the release on a future date. The production team has spoken that ‘The Collection’ season was not as successful financially as ‘The Collector’s was, so the production of a new season has been stopped for a few years. The shooting was officially stopped in September 2019. Most probably, it will be premiered soon.
