The 1970s classic horror movie, The Exorcist is all renewed for a trilogy by The Universal and Blumhouse Production and will make our 2023 Halloween all spooky and thrilling. The movie will be a sequel to the original one, directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Jason Blum. Writing credits have been given to Peter Sattler, Scott Teemsand William Peter Blatty.

When will The Exorcist Release?
The making of The Exorcist trilogy has been given the green light, and its release is said to begin from October 13, 2023, with the first part. Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures have confirmed the news. Earlier made to be a revamped version, it later was kept to be the sequel of the original film. So the fans have to wait for quite some time before finding out what this sequel version will have in store.

The story for this sequel will be based on the original film, which in turn is inspired by the 1971 novel by William Peter Blatty in the same name.
