A good heart is vital for being a good doctor. An American series, The Good Doctor, is proof for the above statement. It is a family-friendly series which is about an autistic young Surgeon who struggles to mark his accuracy and perfectionism in the medical field because of his Savant syndrome.
It is based on the Korean drama series of the same name. It consists of 5 seasons with 84 episodes in total. You can watch the series on the ABC network.
When Will It Return After Hiatus?
Fans are in absolute love with this American drama series. Each and every episode is gaining popularity and breaking the bars. But apparently, fans have gotten a bit disheartened because of the late release of the fifth episode. The audience was eagerly waiting for this episode and, in the end, got played by their luck quite well.
The episode was slated for November 22, 2021, but because of the Thanksgiving hiatus, it got doomed. Now the question which is knocking at everyone’s door of mind is that when will it finally be released?
So, the answer to the most-awaited question is that the Good doctor season 5, episode 8, will release in either mid of December or the end of it Because ABC has not released the date for the resumption of its regular television series. So, all one can do is wait for the official schedule. Because of the Hiatus, the programming of much other television series has been affected as well.
Storyline
The show is about an autistic young Surgeon who is no less than a prodigy for his medical field. Initially, no one believes him as everyone doubts his physical appearance and his unusual speaking tone, but soon throughout the show, one can witness how he marks his life with back-to-back big achievements just by believing in himself.
In the show, along with his sharp skills, a big emphasis has been given to his soft heart, which always makes him different from the rest of the professionals in his field. He not only understands the patients but connects with them too. While watching the series, you’ll feel the warm vibes of the main protagonist. His innocence makes him unique.
Till the 7th episode, labeled as “Expired,” we get to see the lovely moments between Shaun and Lea, but soon after, one can smell the incoming turmoil as they quickly rush an injured pregnant woman into the emergency ward of the Hospital. Surely some commotion takes in, and as usual, the protagonist and the other characters do their job.

The audience loves this show, especially the protagonist Dr. Shaun; one can see the literal growth of this character throughout the show, plus the innocence which never ever fails to charm its fans. The dialogue delivery, screenplay, timings, everything is just perfect.
