Vivo is a Sony Pictures Animation melodic fantasy computer-animated movie set to be released in 2021. Kirk DeMicco and Brandon Jeffords co-direct the movie, which was inspired by a script by DeMicco and QuiaraAlegraHudes and a narrative by Peter Barsocchini, with lyrics written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the eponymous movie character.
The cast members are Juan de Marcos Gonzalez, Ynairaly Simo, Zoe Saldana, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Rooker, Gloria Estefan, and Nicole Byer. The movie is the first song from Sony Pictures Animation. Miranda submitted the feature to DreamWorks Animation in 2010 but was scrapped owing to the firm’s overhaul in 2015. However, on December 14, 2016, Sony Pictures Animation resurrected the project speedily.
Worth Watching or Not
Reviewers complimented the movie’s animation, voiceovers, and song sequences, and it garnered excellent reviews. With its stunning visuals, engaging vocals, and heartbreaking story, Vivo was the epitome of a family-friendly film. Younger audiences may find the early tragedy harder to bear, but Vivo tries to escape getting too gloomy in the darkest of times.
The picture is chock-full of vibrant, energetic characters, force-fed adversaries who throw roadblocks in the line, and many songs and dances. The film’s leading lady, Gabi, is a young girl entering adulthood. Overall, the movie is well worth seeing.

Storyline Without Spoilers
The movie begins with an ankle dance piece in which Miranda’s theatrical rap is mixed with a fantastic amount of authentic Cuban instrumentation. Soon after, Andres gets a note from an ex-lover, Marta Sandoval, who became a popular singer. Marta is singing at her final show in Miami, and her goal is to reconcile with her old boyfriend Andres and relive their golden days together on stage.
Vivo is first dissatisfied with his owner, who treats him as a friend and counselor rather than a pet animal. The novel has a musical feel, and the interaction among Andres and Marta helps Vivo appreciate it. The underlying reason for Marta’s trip to Miami is that Andres had composed a piece of music for her that he rarely got around to telling her personally.
He doesn’t restrict, and this is the only moment he will be permitted to. When events do not go as Vivo and Andres want them to, Vivo is obliged to pair up with Andres’ granddaughter Gabi. They set out on an expedition to travel from Florida to Miami to present Andres’ music on schedule.
