Having seen the first five episodes in the first part, fans are looking forward to Money Heist Season 5, part 2. The first part hit the screens on September 3, 2021, and the second part is just three months away. In their release schedule, Netflix mentioned that they would come up with the second part on December 3, 2021. Henceforth, we are eyeing the forthcoming part of season 5. After all those combats, fights, explosions, and the death of a significant character, we are eagerly waiting for more episodes.
Will there be a Money Heist Season 6?
Unfortunately, no. While announcing the renewal, Netflix announced that season 5 would be the series’ final season. This means that we get to see no more episodes in the future after Money Heist Season 5, part 3 hits the screens. But there’s always room for spin-offs. In an interview, Alex Pina, the director of the Spanish drama, said that he would love to come up with a spin-off series in the future.
However, he didn’t elaborate much on this topic, but at least we know he has something in his mind. We believe that the story is getting the end they deserve. Some things end for good, and the Money Heist series is one such thing.
The Director’s Statement on Money Heist Season 5 Part 2
Speaking about Money Heist Season 5, part 2, Alex Pina said that the second part would show more of the emotional side of the characters. He stated that while they were writing the fifth season in the middle of a pandemic, he felt the need to change a few things in the series.
Moreover, he needed to make it look like a finale season and used every tool he could to create that sensation. This was when they decided to divide the final season into two volumes. Besides that, he said that season 2 would focus on the characters’ journey across the sentimental map to connect the audience directly to their departure.
