Emily in Paris now renewed officially for a second season. The first season of Emily in Paris widely appreciated and savored by the fans. Hence, Netflix chose to renew the season immediately, on November 11, 2020. The message for the renewal of the show was exotic as the show itself. Netflix announced the news with Savoir (where Emily is currently employed) letterhead, including a letter from Sylvie Grateau, her boss.

Darren explains that in the coming season, Emily will “more of a part of the fabric” of the socio-cultural space that she is in. That is, unlike being an outsider residing in a city of which she is not likely to be an integral part. In this season, Emily is going to be more of a “resident of the city.” She will build her life in Paris and will have her feet in the “ground a little more.”
