Robert Zemeckis is the director of the American adventure comedy science fiction film Back to the Future: Part III. Bob Gale authored the film’s script. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Mary Steenburgen, Thomas F. Wilson, Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue, Matt Clark, and Richard Dysart feature in this third and final installment of the Back to the Future trilogy. It was released on May 25, 1990, and won two Academy Awards for Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films.

Movie Plot
Marty McFly learns in 1955 that Emmett “Doc” Brown was deported to 1885 after seeing his DeLorean disappear. The first digit is [N 1.] Marty and Doc utilize information from Doc’s letter from 1885 to find and repair the DeLorean, enabling Marty to travel across time. Marty imagines a tombstone with Doc’s name and the inscription “Buford “Mad Dog” Tannen shot Doc six days after he delivered the letter.”
Marty travels back in time to 1885 to rescue Doc, despite the letter’s warnings, and arrives during a Native American cavalry pursuit, rupturing the gasoline line of his vehicle in the process. Bear chasing him, his Irish-born great-great-grandparents Seamus and Maggie McFly let him spend the night with them. The following day, he arrives in Hill Valley and encounters Buford and his crew. Marty is saved from being hung by Buford by Doc.
Without gasoline, the DeLorean cannot reach the required 88 mph (142 km/h); thus, Doc regrettably chooses to return to 1885. He advises using a steam locomotive to accelerate the DeLorean to this speed.
Released On
MCA/Universal Home Video initially released Back to the Future III on VHS on December 8, 1990. The same firm then released it on DVD on December 17, 2002. Finally, it releases on Blu-ray for the first time in 2010, the film’s 20th anniversary. A second Blu-ray restoration followed this in 2015, the 25th anniversary of the picture. In 2020, on the 30th anniversary of the film, a 4K Blu-ray remaster will release.
