Created by John Linson and Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone is the American neo-western series that first debuted in 2018. Recap of Episode 8 of Yellowstone Season 4
The season 4, episode 8 of Yellowstone, is titled No Kindness for the Coward. It initially showed us the old time of James Dillard Dutton in the Yellowstone ranch where one night he tries to catch the horse stealers while Margaret, his wife and two sons- Spencer and John have dinner.
Coming to the present day scenario, we find Jamie in a dilemma as to whether he should stand against John in Governor elections or not because if he did, then the recent family attack on Dutton’s and his link with Garrett will be the talk of the town. But he goes for the opposing John on the words of Garrett and Christina.
At the dinner table, we see Beth getting angry and storming out of the scene but on insisted by Rip, he returns. At work, Beth suggests the strategy for the protestors against the airport’s construction. With the help of Summer, the protestor’s head, he uses monetary force to remove the media personnel from the site, which eventually leads to negative Market Equities media coverage.
Meanwhile, we see Jimmy and Emily sharing some close time, and Monica reveals the news of her pregnancy, which rejoices Kayce. Finally, rip and John transport a batch of bulls to town and later suggest his will to have a word with Sheriff Haskell to kill the man behind the attack on Dutton’s -Riggins. But when the two reach the site, they discover that the people there were taken as hostages by the robbers and the two dive in to help.
What Happens Towards the End of the Episode 8?
In order to help the individuals, John makes the way from the back gate while Rip quietly enters the entrance. On seeing the robbers holding hostages of the people at the dinner table, Johns opened fires. Sheriff Haskell also fires but, in the process, gets hit himself. Nevertheless, the duo manages to save the people.
Owing to serious injury, Sheriff Haskell dies. The entire situation might have two outcomes- one can be that he might come out as a hero who saved innocent people’s lives. In contrast, the other situation could lead to some serious legal action against him to use arms and affect his candidacy.
What was the Reason for John Being Called by Jamie?
While on their way back home, John gets a call from Jamie, who insists that he meet the former alone and in a place away from the ranch. But the episode did not reveal what Jamie wanted to talk about with John, but the latter, before disconnecting the call, made him come to the ranch to discuss the matter.
It can be high chances that Jamie discloses the news of his standing up against John in the upcoming Governor elections and that the lines are clearly drawn between them. However, he wouldn’t reveal to John about Garrett’s link with the attack on Dutton’s.
