The latest 9th episode of 4400 was premiered on January 17, 2022, after a long wait since December. The 9th episode was different from the rest of the episodes of the season because instead of focusing on a particular character and his/her romantic and other relationships, it mainly focused on a more generalized view of the world before it changed.
It was a cool and unique effort from the side of the makers, but the reviews on the part of the audience say otherwise. Most audiences seemed to have loved the character-specific episodes more than the generalized episode. Also, there is a huge demand for the bringing back of the other actors of the show on screen who have been taking up the back seat due to Covid restrictions.
So, the next episode, which is to be premiered on January 24, 2022, needs to keep in mind the viewers’ choice before making their script for the next episode.
All To Know About The 10th Episode
It was impressive to see how the recent episode kept the present situation of Covid in the real world as its point of concern. The show highlighted the racial discrimination faced by Asians during the pandemic, with Soraya complaining about Steve facing discrimination as an Asian.
It brought into light how life and benefits for people like Steve in the huge world are narrower than the privileged others and how helplines and the so-called concern of government during hard times are nothing but empty promises.
It also showcased the important but not often realized the reality of how government divides people and diverts their minds with different incidents concerning her identity while working towards their hidden larger propaganda.
The show also beautifully depicted the relationship between Andre and Shanice, both of them being the heart of the show. It bluntly gets perfectly shows the reality of the world through Andre’s fear and concern after being revived as a trans man.
Be it 1920 or 2022; there will always be people taunting others for their identity. It shows how the world hasn’t changed when after 100 years. It even shows Shanice using her powers to calm Andre even after her own emotional disturbances.
The best thing about the episode was that it gave supporting actors Soraya and Agent Tanner more space in the episode, and they proved to make the best use of it. The episode mainly was centered around Soraya, who has betrayed others to save herself. She is revealed to be a double agent in the latest episode.
What is her motive? Will she be faithful to the 4400 or turn her back on it? To find out, we have to wait for the next episodes!
