Ryan Murphy’s procedural drama TV series, 9-1-1, will premiere the third episode of season 5 on October 4. Fox has renewed the series for season 5 on May 17, 2021. It finally started to premiere on September 20. The upcoming episode will pick up the ongoing blackout massacre from the last one, as Jeffrey Hudson, the serial rapist, continues playing his field. When and Where to Watch 9-1-1 Season 5 Episode 3?
The upcoming episode of 9-1-1, titled “Desperate Measures,” will drop on October 4, 2021. New episodes of the current season premiere on Mondays. The current season of 9-1-1 is longer and will have a total of 18 episodes. Since it is produced by Fox, you can tune in to the Fox channel at 8 p.m. E.T. on Mondays to watch the show. If you have its cable username and password, you can stream it on your digital device.
The new episode is also available for streaming on Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. If you do not have access to any of these platforms, you can also watch it on Hulu. Fox shows current episodes are available on Hulu one day after it streams on the Fox Network, so you can watch it the next day. The following fourth episode of 9-1-1 season 5, titled Home and Away, will premiere on October 11.

According to the official synopsis available, the blackout, which has completely enwrapped, will bring Los Angeles to mayhem. Meanwhile, Athena will race about to protect her family from a tragic incident. Eddie’s future depends on a certain choice he makes; Maddie must arrive at a decision soon which carries a life-changing impact.
In the previous episode, Jeffrey Hudson has made his escape and is now roaming free. The city gets engulfed in darkness, but it is no ordinary blackout. Over a building, a helicopter crashes, and a few rushes out to save Manny. As the show jumps four days ahead, the system failure has still trapped the city in complete darkness.
The firefighters need to respond to dire situations immediately, and people have limited resources to keep up with the blackout. And, in the midst, their personal battles continue. Michael thinks to make this entire opportunity a financial opportunity, and as he had some energy saved, he charges people to use it. But, maybe he has invited problems too, as someone who may potentially destroy his family is among his invitees.
As Hudson has escaped, Athena is sure that he will once again attack any of his victims. But, she does not give the fact a thought that she was also one among them. Danger looms over her, as this time Hudson may come for Athena and her family. It is going to be one tough struggle against her arch-enemy. Meanwhile, Eddie has decided to come clean to Ana, but he is not ready to have a family yet. Maddie also has to make tough decisions.
