Catherine Reitman On Social Media
Catherine posted a video on Twitter saying, “Making this show for our great fans has been my life’s journey. Philip and I set out on day one of season one, with a three-month-old and a two-year-old, with one objective: to tell the tales of four imperfect moms who dared to be more than their nurseries. Going to work every day, whether in the room with our amazing writers, on set with our outstanding actors, or in post with the best producing team in the business, has instilled in me the necessity of making meaningful tales, surrounded by craftsmen who understand it”
Catherine Reitman concluded, “but, like every tale, there has to be an ending. As a result, it is with much sadness and thankfulness that I announce season seven as our final season. Thank you to our partners, CBC and Netflix, for supporting a show that shines a light into the darkest corners of parenting. I see you, those who have stopped me on the street to communicate your enthusiasm for the play. I get what you’re saying, and I thank you. Go grab them, mamas..”
