As a lengthy and foundational program, many of its main characters, like DIO Brando or Joseph, have been ingrained in famous society for a long time. Many additional stand-out JoJo’s bizarre adventure characters demonstrate why this JoJo series has earned its name.
Though manga-exclusive characters such as Gyro Zeppeli and Yasuho are fantastic, JoJo’s bizarre adventure anime has many best characters to deal with and adore.
From endearing pals, including Polnareff and Guido Mista, to the scary Yoshikage Kira, these best JoJo characters have left a lasting impression on viewers.
20. Pet Shop (Stardust Crusaders)
This fierce falcon is a part of Egypt’s 9 Glory Gods, the protector of DIO’s Mansion, and an ice Stand operator, Horus. Pet Shop assaults Iggy when he accidentally wanders across DIO’s Mansion.
When this falcon was first brought, he ate two dogs and nearly murdered a child if Iggy did not interfere.
He is unrelenting and cruel, as evidenced by his assaults on Iggy underwater. Finally, he dies when Iggy chews and smashes Pet Shop’s beak while attempting to blast Ice from a close distance.
19. Iggy (Stardust Crusaders)
Iggy is a New York City-bred Boston Terrier. He reluctantly joins the heroes on their ultimate mission to eliminate DIO in Cairo, Egypt. Iggy utilizes The Fool as a Stand participant.
He has horrible character and is an antisocial dog. He likes biting on human hair and farting in people’s faces. However, coffee-flavored chewing gum is his favorite delight.
He has a very high intellect for a dog, particularly during the conflict with Pet Shop and N’Doul. His trip would culminate in Dio’s house, where Vanilla Ice and his Stand Cream would assassinate both him and Avdol. Following Ice’s defeat, Iggy’s and Avdol’s souls are seen ascending towards paradise.
18. Risotto Nero (Vento Aureo)
Risotto Nero leads La Squadra Esecuzioni and his group to confront Team Bucciarati to capture the Boss’ child, Trish Una, as a mission and responsibility to learn her father’s authentic self. He chases his team Bucciarati to the island of Sardinia after all his squadmates perish during their operation.
However, he finds it embroiled in a fight with Vinegar Doppio on a beach near Costa Smeralda. Risotto manipulates the elements in his environment using the deadly magnetic skills of Metallica found in his blood.
He confronts Doppio after discovering that he is a Stand operator dependent on his response to the melody of Aerosmith, to then be slain by Narancia’s Aerosmith and have used King Crimson.
17. Jolyne Cujoh (Stone Ocean)
Jotaro Kujo’s child Jolyne is the only woman “Jojo” to time. Jolyne, an average girl at first, swiftly wakes her string-based Stand, Stone Free, throughout her stay in prison.
She was transferred to Green Dolphin Street Prison without understanding what might happen to her as a result of what appeared to be a mistake. Finally, Jotaro offers her an amulet made of pieces of the Stand in the shape of an archer.
The “accident” was staged by the Prisons’ very own monk, Enrico Pucci; the viewers would learn through the happenings of Stone Ocean. Following the unleashing of her Stand, she and her comrades in jail strive to live in the imprisonment known as the Ocean of Stone.
16. Jean Pierre Polnareff (Stardust Crusaders)
Polnareff, a Frenchman, comes with Jotaro and Joseph to avenge his beloved sister’s death by a guy with double hands on the right. He, likewise Kakyoin, was presented as an opponent Stand holder due to their exposure to Dio’s vampiric flesh blooms.
After the first conflict, he eventually joins the gang, although most of his excursions are comical. His Stand is named Silver Chariot, and he wields a sword, making him one of the most substantial Stand in Stardust Crusaders.
He avenges Vanilla Ice for the deaths of his buddies Avdol and Iggy. Also weeps when he witnesses both of their souls ascend to heaven following the conflict.
He also survived Dio’s struggle and will be assisting Jotaro and the Speedwagon foundation in the long term.
Before Vento Aureo, he traveled to Italy in search of the Stand, where he began his inquiry, attracting the notice of Diavolo. He conspired to kill Diavolo but lost and was critically injured. Nevertheless, because of his understanding of the opponent and the impacts of the shot on a Stand, he might be crucial in Giorno’s war against Diavolo.
His spirit is still in Coco Jumbo, the turtle after Vento Aureo, because his original body perished and is with Giorno and Passione.
15. Noriaki Kakyoin (Stardust Crusaders)
Kakyoin is a Japanese scholar indoctrinated by DIO on a previous visit to Egypt and is assigned to assassinate Jotaro Kujo. However, he resolves to follow Jotaro on his adventure to Egypt to rescue Jotaro’s mom, Holy Kujo, and achieve forgiveness after being released from DIO’s spell. He uses the lengthy Stand Hierophant Green, which comes with Emerald Splash’s skill.
In his bouts, he is proven to be incredibly intelligent. Anime fans were impressed by his quick thinking during the duel with Dio.
He was eventually defeated by Dio and his Stand, “The World.” Before departing, he would demonstrate The World’s capacity to freeze eternity to Joseph by making one more emerald splash on the massive clock.
14. Bruno Bucciarati (Vento Aureo)
He is a gangster who leads his squad inside the strong Neapolitan organization Passione. Bruno Bucciarati was dispatched to find whoever assaulted Leaky-Eye Luca and made his appearance as Giorno.
Giovanna’s competitor was the first to significantly help Giorno climb up the levels of Passione. Bucciarati is a Stand User who battles with Sticky Fingers. He wound up enlisting Giorno in his organization since they both want to end drug trafficking in Italy.
Bruno was slain by Diavolo during Trish Una’s claimed “return,” but he survived the entire series as an undead owing to Giorno’s Stand Golden Wind.
He would ultimately enter the eternal during the confrontation with Diavolo in the Coliseum, where he would be essential in restoring everyone to their souls and delivering the shot to Giorno.
13. Josuke Higashikata (Diamond is Unbreakable)
Josuke is the central character in Diamond Unbreakable. He is a first-year high school student from Morioh. He later encounters Jotaro Kujo, who reveals to him that he is the estranged daughter of Joseph Joestar (joe star family).
Josuke puts it onto himself to safeguard his home community from malicious Stand participants when his grandfather passes. Josuke possesses Crazy Diamond, a strong stand’s ability to repair nearly anything.
His narrative eventually wins him friends, he meets his father, and he saves the community from the murderer Yoshikage Kira. He was aided by a teenager wearing a pompadour hairdo after an event when he was small, and he would wear one himself as he grew older. However, he hates it when others blame his hairstyle.
12. Yoshikage Kira (Diamond is Unbreakable)
Diamond is Unbreakable’s primary adversary is Yoshikage Kira. Yoshikage Kira is an aberrant and paraphilic criminal murderer whose habit is disrupted when the spirit of his first target, Reimi Sugimoto, requests the Joestar family to seek him. He draws curious stares by shooting Shigekiyo Yangu.
Kira is a Stand User who uses the terrible serial Killer Queen to manufacture explosives. He is a hand fetishist to the point, keeping a gorgeous suspect’s hand and only disposing of it when it begins to decay, and he seeks another target.
11. Diavolo (Vento Aureo)
Diavolo is Vento Aureo’s major antagonist. He is Passione’s supervisor and Trish Una’s dad. He orders Team Bucciarati to take her to him while protecting her from the treacherous Squadra Esecuzioni.
However, it is soon explained that he entrusted team Bucciarati with bringing Trish to him so he may assassinate his child to maintain his concealment.
Diavolo is a Stand User who uses King Crimson in combat and is hidden Vinegar Doppio’s other identity. Diavolo’s Stand is King Crimson and a firm Stand with enormous physical force and the capacity to erase time up to 10 seconds and foretell anything that transpires in the next 10 seconds.
Although it has several restrictions, King makes him virtually unbeatable in battle since he can either anticipate and match the opponent’s moves or render them useless by deleting the period in which they occur. Giorno kills him when his Stand unlocks a new power known as Gold Experience Requiem.
10. Caesar Zeppeli (Battle Tendency)
Caesar is an Italian Ripple operator and Lisa Lisa believer. He is Will Anthonio Zeppeli’s grandson and fights the Pillar Men with his allies and tutors to respect his Zeppeli ancestry.
Caesar initially despised Joseph Joestar, believing him to be uncivilized. Still, during the adventure, they earned each other’s respect for their persistence in acquiring the ripple ability from Lisa Lisa to destroy the Pillar Men. Caesar Zeppeli was a fiery yet determined warrior committed to the struggle for the Pillar Men. In conclusion, his zeal cost him his life.
During the chase of Kars, he got ahead of everyone else and was attacked by Wamuu. Though he nearly triumphed, he made a slight error during the combat and was killed by the Holy Sandstorm.
He gets to acquire Wamuu’s lip piercing before bleeding out, which held the antidote for Joseph’s surviving Wedding band.
Then, before being smashed by a cross-shaped boulder, he utilized his ripple power to create a bubble out of his blood, holding the Lip piercing and his headband for Joseph to remove.
9. Joseph Joestar (Battle Tendency)
Joseph Joestar is the primary hero in Battle, a narrative about the roots of the stone face that wrecked the Joestar clan in Phantom Blood through Dio. He is among the ultimate being that battle with their brute strength rather than their bodies. While he features his grandfather Jonathan Joestar, his demeanor is distinctive.
While Jonathan is much more gentlemanly and tackles problems head-on, Joseph behaves more like a fool executing pranks and taking his opponents off guard. He also has a knack for predicting what his opponent would remark to him during a battle.
Kars became the perfect being, and Joseph only triumphed because of a series of circumstances that resulted in Kars being thrown into space, where he would remain standing yet conscious for the rest of his peaceful life. He was notorious for fighting without considering too much and acting at the time.
In the confrontation with Kars, he would also sacrifice an arm. He would subsequently disrupt his cremation and surprise everyone by marrying Lisa’s maid, Suzie Q.
In Stardust Crusaders, he was instrumental in hunting down Dio and rescuing his child Holy Kujo from her Stand. Finally, despite his advanced age, he obtains a Stand called Hermit Purple.
He is renowned as a trickster since he convinced the Speedwagon staff and Jotaro that he was a vamp after Stardust Crusader despite everyone’s fear that he would perish. Joseph is considerably older in Diamond is Unbreakable and has a son with a scholar called Tomoko Higashikata when he is 62.
He would not discover about the child until Josuke was 16 years old. Then, he’d travel to Morioh to see Josuke and assist him. Finally, he adopts a baby found on the roadside and becomes Achtung Baby, a Stand user with the capacity to turn unseen.
8. Kars (Battle Tendency)
Kars is the Pillar Men’s chief and the originator of the Stone Mask. His objective is to advance further so that he will be impervious to the sun’s rays.
Therefore he pursues the Red Stone of Aja to augment his Masks, fighting Ripple users for its ownership. He is considered first among all Pillar Men.
Kars, in contrast to Wamuu, who battled and appreciated fighters who struggled with him, is displayed to have no privilege, even compromising on the fight against Lisa Lisa despite having the advantage of becoming a Pillar Man. After Battle Tendency, he is defeated by Joseph Joestar, vacating him space-conscious but fixed.
7. Dio Brando (Stardust Crusaders)
Dio, the compelling story adversary, has haunted the Joestar lineage since Phantom Blood until Stardust Crusaders. Enrico Pucci was resolved to obtain Dio’s influence of heaven even after he died.
Beginning as a child raised by the Joestars, he plagued Jonathan Joestar’s existence by murdering his dog, inciting other children to abuse him, and even stealing Erina’s first kiss. Finally, a gang of fishermen accidentally freed him from his watery tomb in Stardust Crusaders.
Following his discharge, he would become pregnant by a Japanese lady (Giorno), track down Enya the Hag, and encounter Enrico Pucci. In Egypt, he is conquered by Jotaro, and the sunrise dissolves his remnants in the Sahara desert. His Stand is The World, which can pause time for 9 seconds.
6. Funny Valentine (Steel Ball Run)
He is Steel Ball Run’s main antagonist enemy. Funny Valentine is the U.s’ 23rd President and the genuine architect of the Steel Ball Run event. He observes the contest from behind the drapes, hoping to collect the Saint’s Corpse and utilize the sacred relic to advance the u.s. interests.
Valentine is a Stand User who travels through different realities using his Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and its unique package of talents.
5. Gyro Zeppeli (Steel Ball Run)
Gyro commands from the Kingdom of Naples and is a Spinmaster. He enters the Steel Ball Run race to obtain amnesty for the teenage years he has been ordered to kill. He is mastering the Spin, eventually removed dimensional barriers and helped him enter the Ball Breaker.
Before the competition, he befriends the paraplegic Johnny Joestar. Eventually, he would instruct Johnny on the Golden Spin, granting him use to his Stand Tusk. His Stand, Ball Breaker, was strong enough to hurt Funny Valentine but not to assassinate him since he passed away of his wounds acquired during the fight.
Gyro imparts his final teaching to Johnny before leaving, allowing Tusk to achieve ACT 4, letting him overthrow Valentine. His ghost then comes, bids his companion farewell, and rises to paradise.
4. Johnny Joestar (Steel Ball Run)
Johnny, a previous horse-racing prodigy now paraplegic, enters the SBR race to discover the mystery behind Gyro Zeppeli’s Steel Balls, the only item possible for repairing his legs. When Johnny receives Tusk, he seems to be both a Spin User and a Stand User during the race.
Although he didn’t complete the event, he prevented Funny Valentine from exploiting the Saint’s Corpse, a sacred relic, to serve the u.s. interests. Instead, he would join his wife on a ship bound for Naples, where he would honor his comrade by returning his body to his relatives.
3. Jotaro Kujo (Stardust Crusaders)
Jotaro Kujo is the primary character of Stardust Crusaders and was the most likable figure since his first appearance. Jotaro’s tale began when he traveled to Egypt with his grandpa to protect his mom, Holy Kujo. As a result, he receives the star platinum, an extraordinarily swift and exact close-range Stand.
Throughout his voyage, he became fonder of his companions and even mourned some who perished. This is more clear in Diamond is Unbreakable as he still takes about and stares at the picture of his company.
After Stardust Crusaders, he eventually kills DIO. Jotaro would later complete his education and obtain a Ph.D. in Marine Biology before marrying an Italian-American female and having a daughter called Jolyne.
Kujo would subsequently star in Diamond is Unbreakable like a Marine Biologist on the hunt for an uncle he had no idea he had. Jotaro would be crucial in beating Yoshikage Kira, the murderer in Morioh.
He was the one who dispatched Koichi to Vento Aureo to look for Haruno Shiobana (he soon switched his alias to Giorno Giovanna).
He was at Stone Ocean when Enrico Pucci confined his child to entice him. Pucci’s Stand talent allowed him to retrieve his memory disc, which included Dio’s Journal, and use it to create his kind of eternity. Enrico’s modified Stand, Made in Heaven, destroyed him and most of Jolyne’s friends. He and DIO Brando are the JoJo characters.
2. Enrico Pucci (Stone Ocean)
DIO’s dedicated disciple and companion, he bears out DIO’s long-planned scheme to “achieve heaven.” Pucci is a Stand User who utilizes his Stand, Whitesnake, to influence the inner self. He is Stone Ocean’s major enemy and the culprit behind Jolyne’s prison.
Except for Emporio, he killed many other dead people as his Stand ripened into Made in Heaven. Emporio acidulates him with oxygen and destroys him. Yet, his Heavenly Stand is so strong that he can speed up eternity and restart the cosmos.
1. Giorno Giovanna (Vento Aureo)
Giorno is DIO’s unlawful child, produced from the robbed body of Jonathan Joestar and is named Haruno Shiobana. He tells his wish to enter the firm unit Passione and his purpose to evolve into a “Gang Star.”
Giorno is a Stand User who opposes the existence of Gold Experience. In Passione, he enters Bucciarati’s organization to combat the drug business. His Stand is the Gold Requiem Experience. With its firm Stand to revert to “zero” as if nothing, it is by far the most fantastic Stand in the sequence.
The Stand is shown to get its mind and to function as an inactive Stand, which implies it may use its skills even without Giorno’s awareness.
This would mean that he is indestructible and unaffected by any strikes as his Stand resets it all to blank. After the show, he is the head of Passione and is working to stop the drug trafficking of the gang he joined.
