Baki is a Japanese animated series. The series is adapted from the second part of the manga Baki the grappler series. Baki was produced by Chiaki Yasuda and Tsuneo Seto, directed by Yuji Asada. Netflix dubs Baki’s English version. Baki is the most successful anime on Netflix. The story is about a 17-year-old boy named Baki raised by his mother and funded his training to become a powerful fighter just like his father. Baki followed his father and met many powerful fighters during his training.
Baki traveled around the world to continue his training, and finally, he found a fighting ground where he fought with many powerful fighters with various Martial arts. And he became the second most powerful fighter in the universe.
Season 4 Release Date
There is no official announcement for Baki Season 4 release till now. Therefore, it is difficult to predict anything about season 4, but some sources say season 4 will release in Japan first, and then Netflix will release its English version. Fans were eagerly waiting for season 4 and expected it to be released somewhere in 2021. But as reported by some sources, we might see some more delay in season 4 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hopefully, season 4 will be released somewhere at the end of 2021 or 2022. The season 4 trailer is already out on July 8, 2021. So it is for sure that season 4 production might have already begun, and soon release date will also be announced.
Expected Cast
As of now, no official announcement has been made about voice cast or expected characters, but we may expect to hear the same voice of Baki till any further news. Netflix may also keep the same voice cast for the upcoming season. The characters who are expected to be seen in BAKI Season 4 are as follows Baki, Baki’s father Yujiro Hanma, Baki’s mother Pickle, Doppo Orochi, Retsu Kaioh, Kaoru Hanayama, Kozue Matsumoto, Katsumi Orochi, and many more new characters may also join.
Expected Plot
Season 4 of BAKI is expected to continue from where it left in season 3. In season 4, a new character will enter named Pickle. She has been alive for millions of years ago since Dinosaurs were alive. Everybody will be shocked at her arrival. In season 4, the whole story will revolve around Baki and Pickle’s fights. Pickle is a human and how she is alive from the Dinosaur era. In the way of Baki becoming like his father, he ended up challenging his father. Fans expect a fight between Baki and Baki’s father, but we may see a fight somewhere at the end of season 4 or 5.
Worth Watching or Not
Baki received a high rating of 6.7/10 on IMDb, and people liked this series a lot. It is very interesting to see both opponents fighting, and you don’t know which party will win. It’s suspense, thrill, weapons and their fighting styles is of different level. I would highly recommend all of you to watch this series as it is something different.
