Yet another series that has gained a good rating so far. The concept of the series is fascinating as it revolves around a father and his son. The father, who is particularly addressed as “the surgeon,” does not justify his title. Because of his deeds, he’s taken up lives and now is on the path of becoming a serial killer. Martin Whitly, also known as the surgeon, is not that famous. But little did his son, Malcolm, know about the drawbacks. Unlike the father, Malcolm was not engaged in stuff like this.
On the contrary, Malcolm worked for the FBI. But, sooner his commendable works led him to fetch the opportunity of working with the New York Police Department (NYPD). Their fruitful service proved to be very enriching, and somehow this young lad deciphers things that even professionals won’t do. In one such instance, he’s asked to confront his father, whom he has not met for the past ten years.
He was afraid that he would be someone like his father, but it was essential to note down his statement to allow Malcolm to understand better the way criminal Minds plan things. Prodigal son going for the third season. As the viewers much prefer it, the team decided to take this further and planned for season 3. The first season was released in the year 2019 and comprised 20 episodes. Beginning of 2021, season 2 was released. Such a delight for the audience!

With the pandemic scenario in mind and with everything so unstable and insecure, we thought that season 3 might go in the dark for some time. But just as a ray of hope dawned on us this year as we gladly accepted the coming of season 3. The pandemic didn’t seem to apply its brakes to the constant efforts of the production team. Though we do not know much about the dates as they are still being decided, we’re sure to say that they will be announced by December 2021.
As for the most awaited part, the release of the series, since season 2 was released this year, we’re not expecting this season to be a good time for the third season. But the start of January 2022 might begin with a lovely surprise!
What Could be the Plot?
This season will focus on the not-so-good relationship between the father and the son. Malcolm is developing his sociopathic nature and is considering himself to be more like his father. He is in a dilemma as he connects the dots of being in a sociopathic family involved in criminal activities while he serves the police. Relations with his sister are not so good. Even she shows some signs of this dangerous possession. Police are investigating crimes that are caused by people who are mentally upset. And Malcolm fears that this might be the time when his secrets will be exposed.
