Rick And Morty Season 5 Episode 9: Expected Ending on Netflix

Rick and Morty is an American science fiction animated television series that is produced by Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. The show revolves around Rick Sanchez, a cynical mad scientist, and Morty Smith, his kind-hearted grandchild, as they spend time together and explore multi-dimensional worlds.

As with Rick and Morty’s fourth season, the fifth season was conceived by Adult Swim. There are set to be ten episodes of the show, which are among Adult Swim’s 70 ordered since it was brought back in 2018. A season finale will air on September 5, 2021, after the premiere on June 20, 2021, featuring an episode scheduled each Sunday.

August 8, 2021, marked the airing of the 8th episode of this season. As many had expected, creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland did not plan to air episode 9 on August 15, 2021. Rick and Morty Season 5 has been pausing in anticipation of a finale that will last an hour. Although season 5 started on a positive note with its premiere, several subsequent episodes haven’t been well received. In addition, a few Rick and Morty episodes in the fifth season did not keep track of the show’s usual standards, including the Thanksgiving episode in July.

Yet, the eighth episode of season 5 of the show, “Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Morts,” effectively made up for the previous weaker episodes, revealing surprising secrets about the eponymous scientist, including the true nature of his kinship to Birdperson and the reasons for his antipathy toward the other Ricks.

How the Show Might End

Rick and Morty Season 5

Adult Swim aired a promo after Episode 8. Having left Rick for a solo adventure, Morty returns through a green portal. In an effort to make the Portal Gun more efficient, Morty fills it with some lime soda after Rick has labeled the fuel container. (He wears Rick’s rifle on his back) Rick goes to Morty, and they get into a fight, resulting in Morty apparently being replaced by someone chosen by the wheel of insults.

As such, there could be a scenario in which Rick does things with someone else while Morty goes out on an adventure. This would be an interesting alternative to Kyle. Originally Kyle was a ghost-like scientist who lived inside the Microverse battery, which drives Rick’s car, which in turn is located inside Zeep’s Miniverse.

Unfortunately, Kyle 1.0 took his own life during “The Ricks Must Be Crazy”, believing that his existence was only to be made use of by a person like him. It will be the current season finale when Episode 9 and Episode 10 are shown back to back titled “Forgetting Sarick Mortshall” and “Rickmurai Jack,” respectively. Both episodes seem to be inspired by the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the cartoon Samurai Jack. This will be clear in upcoming episodes as to what these names mean.

This will be clear in upcoming episodes as to what these names mean. Having Evil Morty emerge as a legitimate threat would also delight a lot of fans, and if he is the one who causes havoc and then ends Season 5 on a suspenseful note. In any case, that’s it. This is pure guesswork that may turn out to be totally wrong. Tuning in will be the only way to find out.

Where to Watch it?

Along with adult swim, Hulu and HBO Max also currently offer the show. So one can most likely guess Rick and Morty season 5 will air on either of those outlets or both until it finds its way to Netflix. Whatever the case, one thing is certain: there is a lot of anticipation surrounding this season’s finale.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
