Stranger Things is an American sci-fi horror series that airs on Netflix. The series is directed by Duffer Brothers and is produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen, along with Duffer Brothers serving as executive producers. The series has been renewed for three seasons, with each Season being a continuation of the other. The series is set in the 1980s Hawkins, where the United States Department of Energy has created a portal to the other side called the Upside Down.
The series revolves around how the inhabitants of the other side create several problems across three seasons and how the residents of Hawkins deal with it. The season 4 of Stranger Things is all set to release on Netflix in 2022. The Cast and Plot
The series is set in the 1980s Hawkins, where the United States Department of Energy has created a portal to the other side called the Upside Down. The first Season shows the disappearance of a town boy Will and the desperate efforts of his friends and family to find him. In contrast, the second Season revolves around Will being influenced by the creatures of Upside Down, the alternate world posing a threat to humanity, which is continued in season 3, which shows creatures getting out of Upside Down, posing a new threat the residents. Season 4 might be a continuation of such incidents where the alternate world tries to enter the physical world and how the residents of Hawkins fight it.
If sources are to be believed, Season 4 will also show the world beyond Hawkins, a resurrection of an old character and a significant role of the Hellfire Club in Hawkins. The cast will remain more or less the same in season 4, which includes Winona Ryder (Joyce), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Noah Schnapp (Will), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Millie Bobbie Brown (Eleven), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Sadie Sin (May), Joe Keery (Steve Harington), and Maya Hawke ( Robin).
Several new cast members have been added in season 4, including Jamie Campbell, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Tom Wlashicha, Sherman Augustus, etc.
