The television broadcasting company The CW has managed to obtain the legal rights of the show ‘Professionals’ from the Rainmaker Content. The movie Soldiers of Fortune have inspired the ten-part series. The action-packed series was made by Jeff Most, who also happens to be the producer of films like The Specialist starring Sylvester Stallone and The Crow. Joining him is Michael Colleary, who is accredited for writing and producing Face/Off.
Including them as executive producers are names like Howard Cohen, Tristan Orpen Lynch, Jennifer Berman, Dipak Chiba, Michael Auret, MaijangMpherwane, Eric d’Arbeloff, Daniel Wagner, William Smith, Herbert Kloiber, Welling, Fredrik Ljungberg, Fraser, Thomas Augsberger, Elena Anaya, Cosima von Spreti, Bharat Nalluri, and Maxim Korostyshevsky.
The production team includes Aoife O’Sullivan, Lwazi Manzi, and Katy Most. The big names associated with the production of Professionals comprise of Subotica, Spier Films, Most Media, Jeff Most Productions, Roadside Attractions, NENT Group, and Leonine Studios, along with The Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa. The shooting of the series has been done in South Africa, and Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and South Africa have also been its co-producers.
Storyline for Professionals
The story focuses on the highly professional security agent named Vincent Corbo, who does his duty to safeguard his clients by any means. Along with his specialized team, he gets hired to solve the disaster that occurs due to the blasting of a satellite. The one who hires them is the rocket designer named Peter Swann, a big-time billionaire and, after doubting a conspiracy behind the accident, appoints Corbo to catch the suspect.
Dr. Grace Davila, the ex-lover of Corbo and now the fiancé of Peter Swann is trying to prevent the global calamity that is about to occur. While solving the case, Corbo learns about the foul play by Swann’s competitors, the unscrupulous officials of the government, and a dangerous criminal gang who all want to take over Peter Swann’s rich empire of futuristic technology. But this isn’t the only problem for security operator Corbo. He must defend himself from the villain who is determined to kill him for his past doings.

Release Date for Professionals
Since the broadcasting network just recently managed to gain the rights to the show, there hasn’t been any official date for its premiere, and it is yet to come to a consensus for the same. However, till then, the wait for the date continues. The positive news that has emerged is that the first season for Professionals has been completed in terms of shooting and can be given the green light for telecast any time soon.
