The Girls Planet 999, also known as The Girls Saga, is a South Korean reality show that premiered on August 6, 2021, on Mnet was a 2021 release. This show was aired at 8:20 PM KST every Friday for twelve weekly episodes until it’s getting on a finale which is on October 22, 2021.
The show aimed to debut fresh members to the K-pop girl group, including idols and trainees from Japan, China, and South Korea. This competition’s auditions will be held from January to February 2021. Mnet parent company CJ E&M sponsored this competition, and its assistant Studio Take One, and even partnership with the game developer and publisher NCsoft.
This game was held to help the authority find new faces for the audiences and build a big K-pop girl group. You will get shocked to know that over thirteen thousand women and girls applied for the sequel. And only 99 got selected from that huge number of applicants. Followed by 99 Women got divided into three different groups where they will compete with each other to be a part of the finale where only nine members were needed.
