If you’re a huge horror enthusiast, then you might have probably heard of Flanagan. Almost everyone has been buzzing about Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix horror series called “Midnight Mass,” which he created, directed, produced, and wrote.

Other notable Netflix horror shows he behind encompasses Shirley Jackson’s “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor” adaptations, as well as Stephen King’s “Gerald’s Game” and “Doctor Sleep adaptations.” And if Midnight Mass is half as terrible as any of those other chilling tales, which we can assure that it will be, all views are going to be scared silly in a matter of days.

The play has already earned the highest form of praise from Stephen King’s formal approbation via his official Twitter account. On September 14, he stated on his Twitter account that Mike Flanagan had constructed a rich, brilliantly photographed nightmare tale that escalates to a high pitch of fear by the seventh and final episode.

What to Expect from Midnight Mass on Netflix?

Midnight Mass is held on Crockett Island, a small, remote seaside town. Riley Flynn (Gilford) returns to his tranquil hometown after serving time for killing a lady in a drunk-driving accident, and the hamlet is thrown into disarray. But suddenly, a fresh, young, charismatic priest named Father Paul (Linklater) arrives, instilling new hope in the village almost immediately.

Unexplained miracles begin to occur, ostensibly at the hands and will of Father Paul, and the town is not only restored to hope but also inspired and re-energized by religion. Hence, of course, it sounds like the series belongs in the faith and religion area thus far, but there is horror woven in. It appears that miracles, even the incomprehensible, heavenly ones, may come at a horrible, inconceivable price.

All the horror movie enthusiasts should prepare themselves to watch this thriller miniseries to get a lot of jump scares, and even if you are someone who is not a fan of this horror genre, then you give it a watch to have a different and scary experience that you will never forget in your life.

Midnight Mass Release Date

On Friday, September 24, Netflix will release all of the seven episodes of the highly anticipated limited series “Midnight Mass.” Moreover, if you’re one of the first 1,500 fans who would respond to a unique virtual premiere event invitation, you might even be able to see the series sooner.

We are not joking; Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy have recently announced that the very first two episodes of the horror thriller “Midnight Mass” will be screened in a premier virtual event that was held on Wednesday, September 22 at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT. However, you don’t have to worry if you weren’t one of the first 1,500 people to react.
