Plot
The storyline is based on the short story by Stephan King, and so we can expect the story to be the same as the short story. The story is said to be set in the time period of the 1850s. The main character Captain Charles has recently lost his wife, and to overcome this grief, he and his three children relocate to another place.
They move into their ancestor’s house that is situated in the town, Preachers Corner, Maine. Even though the town seems quiet and calm, Charles will be faced with demons from the past, and he’ll be seen fighting the darkness that is enveloping his family in their dark family past.

Viewers said everything in the series complimented each other very well, bringing out the best of it. Some viewers found the series to be a little too slow-paced but loved the overall story. Viewers liked the tension, suspense, and mysteries that are building with each episode and kept looking forward to watching what would happen next.
Chapelwaite is worth giving a try, and one should watch it if horror and mysteries are what you look for in your movies and series.
