Inspired by Yasuhisa Hara’s manga series in the same name, Kingdom season 3 is the third installment of the television anime that actually premiered back in 2020. Still, for fans in Canada, U.K, the US, and Ireland, the series was aired by Funimation in 2021, owing to the Covid-19 related delays pushing its telecast by a year. Producers for the show are NHK and Shueisha.

What is Kingdom Season 3 About?
To realize King Ying Zheng’s dream to unite China, the Qin army having commander Li Xin now plans to extend its control towards the eastern side. But the prime minister of the state, Zhao, Li Mu, has other plans. He makes an agreement to halt fights between Zhao and Qin and uses this as the strategy to negotiate with other states.
Thus, the state of Qin gets attacked by armies from Zhai, Chu, Qi, Yan, Wei, and Han state, and they now to be prepared to stop their destruction at all costs. Yin Zheng, along with others, deduces a plan to face the collaborative armies of six states that have invaded Qin for the first time in history.

Episode 25 of the series showed the victory of Qin with Yin Zheng appreciating the efforts of the people to defeat the enemies. He also mentions about the loss of generals Zhang Tang and Lord Biaso and him being the king of the state. The six generals that performed commendably were also chosen to be felicitated.
But one among them would be offered the highest honor for an outstanding display of courage. The general chosen for it turns out to be Meng Wu, who fights and kills the most dangerous enemies of the Qin state. And gets promoted to two ranks high. The remaining generals also got their ranks and rewards in the form of treasures and gold pieces which cheered everyone up.
More accolades were also given to the outstanding performances in battles like Zui, King Yang Duanhe, and the tribe. Towards the end, as the ceremony terminates, we also see Chi You and Lian meet.

This will mark the new beginnings for the state Qin as all its enemies retreated off its territory, and the dream for China’s unification can be finally fulfilled.
