The ongoing Chinese romantic fantasy drama Bright As The Moon is keeping its viewers engaged with its gripping storyline. Created under the direction of Ren Hai Tao and Guo Hu, the series comprise a total of forty episodes for the season.
The show has till now successfully released around half of its episodes since its release on October 4, 2021, and will finally conclude with its finale scheduled for November 9, 2021. The show has been an adaptation of Xi Zi Qing’s work The Anarchic Consort of the Prince.
What is Bright As The Moon all about?
The story of the show revolves around love birds Rong Jing and Yun Qian Yue. The latter rumored of being illiterate and rude is the daughter of Prince Yun manor. In order to not get married into the royal family and owing to her interest in the prince of Rong manor, she spread the rumors about her personality herself. Initially, their relationship was filled with arguments and disagreements but as time passed they fell in love strongly.
But their sweet love story hits a major block when Rong’s health takes a toll on him and he turns into an Aphrodisiac. In order to cure Rong’s illness, Yun Qian embarks on a journey with Phoenix without fearing repercussions. But in her journey, she crosses paths with the emperor Ye Qing Ran who falls deeply in love with her, and to make her close to him gives her life and death heart poison.
Although she is unable to part ways from Ye Qing, her love for Rong remains in her heart. Will the true lovers be united or will the evil plans of Ye Qing succeed?

Previously on Bright as the moon, it was showed that Rong Jing and Yun Qian Yue try to enter a cave that was guarded by soldiers. As the latter enters it somehow, she is seen by one of the guards who try to stop her. But Rong fights the soldier and saves Yun Qian. The duo then proceeds into the cave and ultimately discovers weapons and a lot of treasures.
They also hear some loud noises from nearby. In order to find out what the noise is about they move closer to figure out, it was Yu Qing Ran and Qin Yu Ning arguing. What was all the argument about? The latest episode 20 of Bright as the moon is slated to premiere on Monday, October 18, 2021. The new episode can be enjoyed on the broadcasting site Youku. Unfortunately, only the viewers in China will be able to view the show and no subtitled version of the episodes is released as of now.
