The show Snowpiercer is set in 2026 and tells the tale of when the Earth gets frozen and turned into a wasteland. Josh Friedman and Graeme Manson have created this show, and the show tells us a tale of the survivors on the train who are separated by social differences. The passengers are divided based on their social class, and the narrative tells us how they fight because of that social injustice.
The show is based on a 2013 film made by Bong Joon-ho and La Transperceneige novel by Benjamin Legrand, Jean-Marc Rochette, and Jacques Lob. The first season of Snowpiercer came in May 2020.

The third season of Snowpiercer was renewed on TNT on January 19, 2021. The show was renewed for season 3 even before the release of season 2. The season will come on January 24, 2022, on TNT at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The Cast of Season 3 of Snowpiercer
The main cast of the third season of Snowpiercer will remain the same as that of its previous seasons. They are Daveed Diggs in the role of Andre Layton, Jennifer Connelly in the role of Melanie Cavill, Sean Bean in the role of Mr. Wilford, Lena Hall in the role of Miss Audrey, Mickey Sumner in the role of Bess Till, Rowan Blanchard in the role of Alexandra Cavill, Iddo Goldberg in the role of Bennett Knox, and Alison Wright in the role of Ruth Wardell.
Sam Otto in the role of John Osweiller, Steven Ogg in the role of Pike, Katie McGuinness in the role of Josie Wellstead, Annalise Basso in the role of Lilah Folger Jr, and Sheila Vand in the role of Zarah Ferami. Roberto Urbina can be seen again, and Archie Punjabi has also joined the cast of the show. Mike O’Malley and Chelso Harris are now a part of the main cast, and they’ll portray Sam Roche and Sykes, respectively.
Expected Plot of Season 3 of Snowpiercer
In season 2 of Snowpiercer, we saw that Melanie disappeared along with the data she stored for Alex and Layton. Both Alex and Layton then reach the station so that they can look for her and find her. The data said that various regions on the planet are getting hotter, which could possibly also result in the possibilities for the survival of the human race. Layton is surprised to know that Melanie is going into the Freeze to increase the possibilities and know more about the survival of mankind.
The third season will begin with Layton and his people searching for Melanie. We can also see that Melanie preserved data will be used up to search for a warmer location. The differences between Mr. Wilford and Layton may increase as new doors open up for the latter’s crew.
