What will Happen in the Next Episode?
The Shrink Next Door episode 5 is now officially titled “The Family Tree.” Dr. Ike continues to insert himself into the personal affairs of Marty. He also revels in his newly acquired power and influence in the family business of Marty, as he continues to charge him deftly. Marty gets uncomfortable with his expenditure, and he may try to cut down the expenses by possibly pushing back the doctor.
Since the psychiatrist acts as an intermediary in Marty and Hannah’s blossoming relationship, it could come to an end. Both the characters may face some friction in the upcoming episodes.
What Happens in the Last Episode?
Previously in The Shrink Next Door, the episode titled ‘The Foundation’ explores Marty and his sister, Phyllis’s relationship as it comes to a critical juncture. He cuts her out of his life. Dr. Ike had supported Marty’s idea, who then convincingly brings him to initiate the Yaron Foundation. Dr. Ike and Marty are equal partners in it, while Marty is the one funding it to a large extent.
The psychiatrist also brings his patient to attend a lavish charity event, where they would be promoting the foundation. However, the doctor ends up taking credit for it. Using the funding amount, he starts making expensive purchases. It gives Marty a panic attack, which lands him in hospital. As Hannah starts to suspect the doctor, Dr. Ike decides to impede Marty and Hannah’s relationship, trying to bring it to an abrupt end.
