Recap of the Previous Episodes and What to Look for in the Upcoming Episode
The 5th episode of the show was named “Sang from the Heart, Sire,” released on November 19. In the plot, Emily’s letter was responded to by Higginson. Emily is overjoyed. The Dickinsons visit the Bazaar, but the situation is bitter when the townspeople label Edward as a traitor about his open letter to the newspaper. Ithamar requests that Edward, who has a Confederate brother in Georgia, pick aside.
Emily plans a family singing along party to make her father happy on his birthday. Vinnie vows silence in memory of the slain soldiers.
