“Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai” is among some of the most successful Japanese anime and manga series which is based on a same-named video game. Scripted by Katsuhiko Chiba, the first episode of this popular anime series adaptation aired on TV Tokyo on October 3, 2021. Toei Animation created the anime series while mixing 2D and CG animation.
The series revolves around the narrative of ‘Dai,’ a young hero who, along with his comrades, fights to rescue the world from the ‘Dark Lord Hadlar’ and his master, the ‘Dark King Vearn,’ and their army of monsters. This famous series has been entertaining its fans for the last year and has created a lot of buzz in the audience. As the last episode of the manga series (i.e., episode 58) has created chaos in the viewer’s mind, they can’t wait to know what will happen in the next episode (i.e., episode 59.)
Recap: Episode 58
Episode 58 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai was titled “The Unlikely Savior” it proved to be a thrill rush and didn’t get a very nice end. The episode starts with Dai attacking Vearn with his sword, and that hit brought the Dark Vearn to the floor, charred to a cinder. However, the victory didn’t last long as The King used the light of Fullheal and healed himself soon.
Dai’s spirit and moves fascinated the Dark King, who concedes that he cannot fight against him without his arms. He then grabbed the Staff of Edacity, his most dreadful legendary weapon, which was gifted by Lon Beruk a long time ago. While being used with the enormous magical power of Dark King Vearn, the weapon becomes the most devastating weapon.
Surprisingly, Hadlar jumps in to save Dai and others just as Vearn’s onslaught was about to kill them. Vearn was taken aback after his attack failed, and even more so when he learned that Hadlar saved them. The king was enraged as his prey was taken from him, and he prepares to slay Hadlar first. He attacked Hadlar, too, and they had a wild one-to-one clash.
One of the Hadlar Guards gave his life to save Hadlar, and then he moved away with his other guards. Popp and Maam were swimming in the water, looking for Dai, just after Hadlar flees. Here, Dai is seen soaring away with the dragon.
The Release Date for Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 59
Since the last episode of the series aired on, fans of the anime have eagerly anticipated the release of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 59. The next episode will be released on November 27, 2021, just as previously indicated.
Speculations: Episode 59
The next episode is going to unfold exciting scenes. Our protagonists will be able to fly due to Hadler after being defeated by the Dark King Veran. Where Dai’s condition is not at all good, and on the other hand, viewers don’t have any idea if Hyunckel and Crododine are still alive. Mother Dragon whisks Dai away, and soon Popp finds out that Vearn has started his attack on the planet.
