What Happened in the Previous Episode?
Previous and the seventh episode of Deep Insanity shows us all where citizens were found panicking about the attacks. Also, we got to know about the attack which is speculated to happen between Mirai and Mikaidi. Both the candidates had planned up for stopping the metro by stopping him from becoming a god. However, as a twist, we also saw that metro asking meza to assist him.
As far as the storyline for its season is concerned, we speculate that the cliffhanger ending from the 7th episode will be continued to the eighth as well! However, there are no such updates from the showrunners regarding the storyline. We will have to wait for two more to see what will be happening in future seasons.
