Every part of the season on the Outer Banks ends with a strange but an unquestionably fun bang. Teenage thrillers have such a longstanding experience of emotional cliffhangers, as well as the Netflix fan favorite about a bunch of teenage misfits pursuing fortunes down the North Carolina coast who will not really try to rewrite the wheels.
If you’ve seen a teenage drama, you know to put your reservations away. Don’t fall for the nonsense. After and then, your fun part may After and then, your fun part may begin. The first season’s climax saw orphan criminal John B Routledge’s reckless effort to elude police apprehension, which resulted in him crashing his sailboat into a tropical cyclone.
And he and his wealthy flame, Sarah Cameron, was soon found to have escaped the shipwreck—and were indeed both safe and very well, but they had been saved by a ship bound for Nassau, which they would find $400 million in treasure.
The Renewed Season
The show’s creator and showrunner have previously stated that the show will have four or five seasons in total. The very first chapter of Outer Banks premiered in April 2020, just as the United States was falling into lockdown. Season 2 was released in July 2021, despite the COVID-19 epidemic disrupting normal production plans. The movie’s final episode is expected to premiere in 2022—possibly in midsummer without any setbacks, but still, no publication date was set.
Will there be Any New Faces?
According to Deadline, Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, and Charles Esten are all set to return. Cleo will also get more screen time now that Carlacia Grant, who portrays her, has indeed been elevated to the regular cast member.
Spoilers?
Hush!! There is no room for spoilers. But let us speculate. However, it’s safe to presume that season 3 will resume the first and second seasons’ treasure search. The $400 million in gold is still in the Bahamas, and there’s now a bejeweled cross thrown in for good measure. Of course, John B and Sarah’s almost marriage will remain. Still, the other players would have plenty of fresh love interests to pursue.
It makes perfect sense once you’re happy and in love, but you’re so wrapped up at this point. But he’s not been consistent in his behavior. His father has been away for a time, so having something secure in his life is important to him. Even though season 2 of the teenage thriller show premiered on Netflix, the streaming giant has failed to confirm the series’ continuation.
Should You Hold Back on Your Expectations?
The third season will most likely continue where series 2 ended, on a remote island in the midst of the Caribbean. However, given the event’s title, we think the Pogues will be able to stay away from the North Carolina shore for a very long time.
Notwithstanding all this positive buzz, the Outer Banks show’s creators don’t have a “grand plan” again for season 3, as per TV Line, even if they do have some ideas for topics they’d like to examine more.
