The previous year, I Can See Your Voice premiered on FOX, and the network has officially announced a second season. Ken Jeong, a Korean-American entertainer, hosts the show based on a Korean serial. A participant is given a set of 6 “secret singers” who are only recognized by their profession and must try to exclude substandard vocalists from the ensemble despite ever listening to their singing.
I Can See Your Voice is a $100,000 competition in which competitors compete to distinguish between excellent and terrible vocalists without listening to their vocals. Instead, according to the show’s description, they will be offered concealed hints, lip-synch tasks, and truthful proof to determine the sound.
Premiere, Where to Watch Online and What Else to Know?
The singing contest will launch on FOX on Wednesday, January 5, at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard time (ET). After the debut, the newest chapters of I Can See Your Voice Season 2 will be accessible on the show’s webpage. Additionally, viewing options such as Fubo TV, YouTube TV, Sling, Philo, and DirecTV Stream are available to individuals who do not have access to the broadcaster.
After all of the initial five stages, the competitor must remove one vocalist, with the winner collecting $15,000 if they do so. Then, with $100,000 at stake, the participant uses a sequence of hints, questioning, and lip-synch tasks to try to separate the excellent “hidden voices” from the poor.
Finally, in a duo engagement with the singing celebrity, the participant’s chosen vocalist exposes excellent or awful vocals, culminating in a brilliant partnership or a display that makes you want to hide your ears.
Cast
Ken Jeong, an entertainer, comedian, and filmmaker, hosts I Can See Your Voice. Cheryl Hines, an entertainer, and Adrienne Bailon, a prominent TV anchor, are frequent visitors on the judging panel. The Academy award singer Jewel, who crowned The Masked Singer as the “Queen of Hearts,” is the singing sensation of season 2.
Entertainer Cheyenne Jackson and artist Bow Wow are among the special visiting investigators. According to I Can See Your Voice’s Instagram account, Millicent Fynn is the inaugural week’s candidate, together with other mystery vocalists: Mail Lady, Water Polo Player, and Banker.
What’s Fresh in Season 2 of ‘I Can See Your Voice’?
I Can See Your Voice’s concept is nearly identical to that of the previous season. The Lip Sync Competition has been rebranded the Lip Sync Showdown, among other minor adjustments. During this session, participants will have the opportunity of using a “Golden Mic” to receive more clues from an off-stage surprise visitor.
The fourth phase has undergone significant changes. The last three singers’ professional records will no anymore be offered to the participants. Instead, they’ll go to the “Super Fan” stage, in which a video created by an adoring admirer of any of the performers will be played as a hint to the contender. Only time can reveal if the design adjustments would make the contest extra difficult for competitors.
