Episode 7 of a revamped version of Sex and the City named And Just Like That was released recently and was filled with lots of drama. From Carrie’s try to date someone to Miranda’s failed hopes about her marriage with Steve, the episode highlights the characters’ lives and how they deal with it.
We see Carrie trying to open herself post the loss of Mr. Big, Miranda exploring about her sexuality as she is hopeless about Steve, Charlotte, and Harry having conflicts and the former standing up for herself and Nya and Andre still struggling with infertility.
Recap of Episode 7 of And Just Like That
In the seventh episode of And Just Like That, we see Carrie working on her book named Loved & Lost that explores her life with Mr. Big and how his death devastated her. To get suggestions about her work, she visits her editor Amanda. The latter informs that her book made her shed tears, but to give some light of hope, she must start dating so that her readers have faith in finding love again.
Meanwhile, Nya and Andre happen to cross paths with Miranda at the market. Soon Nya introduces Andre to Miranda, and looking at their great equation, Miranda is amazed. As soon as Andre left, Nya informed about her not being pregnant again as she recently got her periods. But the two get’s interrupted when Steve makes his presence, to the utter disappointment of Miranda.
We see Carrie worry about her second thoughts about publishing the book, but Amanda suggested that she work on the epilogue instead and begin dating. Carrie then informs about her decision to give seeing someone a try on Amanda’s say to Seema, Miranda, and Charlotte. Miranda then informs her that she has already created her dating account on the app.
Both the ladies then begin discussing about their sex lives, where Miranda tells Carrie about her dead feelings for Steve. We also get to see that Miranda hadn’t received any reply from Che for three months. Finally, we see Andre getting to know about Nya’s non-pregnancy via a text message the latter received from Miranda.
Thus, this annoys Andre, but later the couple reconciles. On the other hand, we witness Charlotte and Harry play tennis with Lisa and Herbert, where the first couple indulges in an ugly fight infront of Lisa and Herbert.
What Happens Towards the End of Episode 7 of And Just Like That?
We get to Carrie trying out the dating experiment on the app, where she meets a widower in his 50s named Peter. The two go out on a date and confess that it is their first time coming outpost their partner’s demise. But somehow, the equation between the two is somewhat awkward.
Later, to save Carrie from embarrassment, Peter puts the bid for her lunch date. Carrie thanks Peter for his help but later informs him that there isn’t a compulsion to go out with him. However, soon two seem to connect and decide to meet again. The two seem to understand each other’s situation, owing to the kind of grief both witnessed, and this is like a ray of hope for Carrie.
A try she giving herself to allow her to live happily once again and open for the idea of love. And Peter seems to respect her boundaries and reservations.
What Happens Between Che and Miranda?
After conversing with Carrie, Miranda tries to reignite the fire between her and Steve. But Steve disappoints her again, and the two leave. The other day we saw Miranda bump into Che at an auction. The two start to converse and soon end up having sex.
However, the two seem to be on different levels of commitment, and Che informs Miranda that let the things take their time and rush into them. But all we know is that we might see two having an affair for sure!
What Happens Between Charlotte, Harry, Lisa, and Herbert?
While arguing on the tennis ground, Charlotte and Harry seem not to resolve the issue anytime soon. At the auction, we see the couple quarreling over the trivial issue of Charlotte not apologizing to Harry on the tennis ground. However, the former states that she would not always be submissive and apologize for small things to satisfy her partner’s ego.
On the other hand, we also witness Lisa and Herbert getting into the fight, but the couple soon resolves the issue, unlike Harry and Charlotte.
