The American Mystery Crime Drama miniseries Dexter: New Blood was developed by Clyde Phillips. The miniseries is inspired by and is based on the Dexter novels that are written by Jeff Lindsay. The plot of the series “Dexter: New Blood” follows how Dexter Morgan makes a comeback after faking his death ten years ago. The reason for his fake death was a hurricane. Now, he has come back to a fictional town in New York, where he has also changed his name. He goes by the name Jim Lindsay and is working as a clerk in a sporting gear store.

Not only that, but he is also involved in a romantic relationship with Angela Bishop, who is a police officer. He is struggling a lot to suppress his killing urges. The whole series follows the plot as to how he tries to suppress those urges without anyone giving any hints.
