Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a Japanese Anime film that is based on the genres like animation, action, and dark fantasy. The language of the release was also Japanese itself. The film was based on the comic illustration known as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which George Akutami wrote.
Made under the production company MAPPA, the film is directed by Sunghoo Park and written by Hiroshi Seku. The Anime proved to be a great success, and within a few days of its release, it became the talk of the town. However, it only has received positive reviews till now.
Plot Of The Film
The film’s main character is Yuuta Okkotso- a first-year high school student, and Rika- Yuuta’s childhood friend, who died in a car accident. But when Rika died in the accident, her spirit had clung to Yuuta. Rika, a sweet and innocent girl before she died, becomes the opposite after dying. She always wanted to protect Yuuta and thus became a dreadful and powerful entity whose only aim was to protect her best friend.
But instead of protecting Yuuta, Rika’s violent behavior leads to brutality all around. Her cruelty leads to bloodshed in the whole town. And as a result, Yuuta feels completely helpless. Seeing the violence of Rika, Yuuta was apprehended by the ‘Jujustu’ sorcerers.
The Jujutsu sorcerers were trained to tackle the spirits like Rika to maintain peace and harmony in the town. When captured by the sorcerers, Yuuta wanted to be completely left alone so that no one else gets hurts.
But the sorcerer which apprehended him had something different in mind. And this is what the film is all about. The film shows us how with the help of this Jujutsu sorcerer and some of his classmates who were Jujutsu weapons experts, Yuuta finds comfort in his abilities and how Yuuta realizes that the world has many more dangers than the wicked spirits.
Cast Of The Film
The movie became a superhit at the Japanese box office. This success was only possible because the movie had a star cast of very talented actors. It included Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Mikako Komatsu, Koki Uchiyama, Tomokazu Seki, Yuichi Nakamura. With them, there were several supporting actors and actresses as well.

After the release of its film, it made a great space in the heart of viewers. Since its release, the movie has ranked number one for two consecutive weeks. And even today, it comes at the second position at trending.
Today, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 comes at 64th position in the highest-earning films in the Japanese box office. Till now, Jujustu Kasen has sold around 6,288,404 tickets and has done a box office collection of around $85.1 million.
Release Date And Platform
The megahit movie was premiered in the theatres of Japan on December 24, 2021, and since then, it has been winning the hearts of the viewers till today. Now, it will be released in the other world regions in 2022 itself.
