A Business Proposal is a new series adapted from the webtoon of the same name by HawHwa. Directed by Park Sun-ho who has worked on series like Suspicious Partner, My Strange Hero, and Birth Of Beauty. Starring the popular Ahn Hyo-shop from Dr. Romantic 2 and Kim Se-Jeong from School 2017. Both of these actors are hailed for their acting and singing skills as both had the opportunity of being a Kpop idols.
The show garnered much positive review after its first premiere and was immediately signed for a second season. The webtoon is currently running at its 171 chapter, released on September 30, 2021. So they surely have a lot of material sources to work with.
There is nothing Tae-mu, played by Ahn Hyo-seop cannot do, the CEO of a big well-known food company. He is good-looking, unimaginably rich, HOT! and cold at the same time ( these CEOs in kdramas, I tell you). So, when he is assigned a project by his grandfather to get married, he takes it as another project- lack of emotions; Something he will definitely learn from the bubbly and goofy, Ha-ri as more episodes air and his contract with Ha-ri, played by Kim Se-Jeong, brings them closer.
Story So Far
Tricked into marriage, Tae-mu goes on 10 blind dates every day until he meets Ha-ri, impersonating Jin-Young Seo, his actual blind date. Ha-ri, in need of money, agrees to act like her and go on a blind date but Tae-mu immediately decides to marry her after the date. Startled she almost falls backward but, Tae-mu catches her in ultimate Kdrama style. And apparently, he is good at many other things- his words, not mine!
However, Ha-ri and Jin Young Seo soon get caught, and turns out he is actually Ha-ri’s CEO. He asks Ji Young Seo to arrange another date with her impersonator. Caught in the trap, Ha-ri fakes another identity and is forced into signing a contract that would make her his fake girlfriend.
