Bel-Air is the reimagined version of the popular series of the 1990s called Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. It has many similar characters and situations but is darker. The older version leaned more towards comedy than drama while the new generation Will is more serious and the overall plot too.
The series follows a 17-year-old Will Smith played by Kabari Banks who has moved from the outskirts and a less fortunate surrounding to his aunt’s house. The reason behind this sudden displacement is one of the biggest secrets in the show and it is definitely dark.
There are a total of 10 episodes this season. So far there is only one season. But after the premiere of only a few episodes, the show gained massive popularity. Thus, fandom and Peacock gave the green light for the release of season 2. The release date is not confirmed yet but will definitely air in 2023 or 2024.
