This season, Station 23 steals some of the spotlights away from Station 19, the prime focus in all of the previous seasons. Currently, in its 5th season, the creators finally decided to give Station 23 the love that it deserves, and oh! was this a good call.
Created by Stacy McKee for ABC, a second spinoff of the very popular Grey’s Anatomy. The show has been renewed for a 6th season as the show doesn’t stop gaining popularity with its engaging heartwarming plot and twists, following the lives of the professional and personal lives of the team at Station 19.
Story So Far
As excited we were to watch Andy, Theo, Deja, Maddox, and the whole team of Station 23 enjoy the spotlight a bit, Station 23 is heartbreakingly going down. In the previous episode, we saw the Station breaking apart and awaiting displacement to other stations due to cuts in budget and the unnecessary of having two stations in such proximity.
Andy and Theo were previously part of Station 19 but were reassigned to Station 23( the reason why Station 23 enjoyed some spotlight). The team back in Station 19 is hoping for a reunion with Andy and Theo while Vic stays skeptical.
Meanwhile, Beckett’s drinking habits keep causing trouble for the team and Robert confronts Natasha about the issue after Beckett read the map wrong and almost caused a lot of harm. Natasha advises him to move forward if he wants to and he indeed does towards the end of the episode.
Episode 14 Preview
The latest episode, episode 14 is titled, “Alone in the Dark” which is all set to air on March 31 on ABC. The official synopsis of the new episode hints at a tearful farewell as Station 23 finally closes down and the team disperses.
Meanwhile, new love will brew as Andy meets a firefighter. Looking at the stills from their official page, they seem very close and intimate. They could become the new love interests of the show.
Emmet and Travis are back together after they cross paths at Robert Sullivan’s hearing. In the official synopsis, Emmet is revealed to invite Travis to have dinner with Emmet’s parents. This is a big step in their relationship after their reunion not too long ago.
