Masterchef has become a significant program over time. It is loved and welcomed by many people across the world. Due to this, Masterchef was franchised in many countries including India.
Masterchef Junior, America’s competitive reality show features 16 kids who explore their culinary skills and brings exciting dishes to the judges’ table. Season 8 was first aired on March 17, 2022. It has been officially announced that Episode 3 will be released on March 31, 2022.
Gordon Ramsey was one of the expected judges like always and it happened to be so. The other two judges are Aaron Sanchez and Daphne Oz. Apart from criticizing the dishes made, the judges also enjoy and are awestruck by the talents of the children as they bring innovative dishes to the table.
What Happens In Masterchef?
After a long audition process, the crew chooses 16 participants for the show. These participants later enter the kitchen, meet the judges and make dishes according to the themes given by them. The participants will have to keep in mind that innovation is the key to success.
Being judged by world-renowned chefs’, the participants can’t fool around with the cuisines they make. The judges expect perfection, innovation, and last but not least plating and taste. Every week the kids are given different themes and they will face the Mystery box challenge, Immunity challenge, an elimination challenge. The participant that doesn’t give an appealing dish in the elimination challenge is sent home.
Ultimately, the kids compete for the Masterchef Junior Trophy, the title “Masterchef Junior Season 8” and the cash prize as well.
Meet The Young Chefs
In this season, we have 16 little participants who bring delicious dishes and make your mouth drool. In the cast we have; A’dan, Abir, Andrew, Ciara, Cruz, Eva, Freddy, Grayson, Ivy, Jillian, Liya, Maclain, Molly, Starla, Tegan, and Blake.
To judge the dishes we have Gordon Ramsey, Aaron Sanchez, and Daphne Oz. Of the 16 cooks, Tegan and Blake were eliminated from the competition.
Masterchef Junior, Season 8 – A Short Recap
Two episodes have been aired already, where they introduce the cast to the audience. The junior chefs were also posted with elimination and team challenges. At the end of every episode, we will have chefs that perform beyond excellence and also the bottom three. An elimination challenge happens for the bottom three and the cook that provides the least favorite dish gets eliminated. So far, two little chefs have been eliminated.

The format of the show remains the same for every season, yet the new contestants, their dishes, and the new challenges still create the same excitement for the audience.

The title of the episode suggests that the junior chefs might be exposed to a large gathering. Maybe the remaining 14 chefs will be divided into two teams and asked to prepare the best dishes. The team that earns more will be safe at the end of the competition.
Apart from the judges, the chefs’ dishes will also be criticized by the crowd at the fair. The chefs will have to keep proportions and innovation in mind as this will be their first time serving a crowd.
