According to the official account, Birgitte Nyborg is the new minister of foreign affairs when an unexpected oil discovery takes place in Greenland. Despite Denmark’s ‘big brother’ connection with Greenland, Denmark remains a little actor – and an unruly one at that – when compared to international heavyweights… Nyborg must continually recognize an event that signifies the beginning of a global struggle for Arctic dominance.

This year, Katrine Fnsmark (Birgitte Hjort Srensen) will also make an appearance. She has served as Birgitte’s press secretary for some time. And now she has returned to journalism. She presents herself as the director of the news department of a prominent national television station for the new season.”
